Worst National Anthem

This side of World Series Game 1

WOW

What a colossal melt down by the NFL network. Genius!

by jkdallas on Nov 13, 2008 7:14 PM CST reply actions

How does that even happen? Unintentional censor bleeps? Classic!

I nearly died laughing

I kept asking myself, why do they keep dropping the f-bomb during the national anthem? LOL

by Tristan on Nov 13, 2008 7:28 PM CST up reply actions

lol

seriously, I was like WTbleep!

by scottmaui on Nov 13, 2008 7:30 PM CST up reply actions

I wonder if

they were trying to work out a glitch with the delay (if they have one).

by jkdallas on Nov 13, 2008 7:17 PM CST reply actions

I have this interface figured out by Sunday night…promise. Pretty cool.

by jkdallas on Nov 13, 2008 7:23 PM CST up reply actions

It appears Favre came to play tonight

by jkdallas on Nov 13, 2008 7:27 PM CST up reply actions

Hilarious

The greatest defensive genius of all time still can’t figure out how to stop a high school play.

First,

The sound was cutting in and out, and then the censor bleep starting randomly going off (i.e. And the home of the *BLEEP*)

Jerricho Cotchery

Great, great receiver playing in a pitiful scheme

I’ll have to admit I had hardly noticed him until tonight… but he has something

by jkdallas on Nov 13, 2008 8:27 PM CST up reply actions

You know what his secret is?

He was born with 6 fingers on his left hand!

i’m glad about now i benched Moss. ooooh, a catch, for 2 whole yards!

i think i woulda started the Jets D if i was choosing with my head, especially with Campbell’s 1 INT and Felix not likely to be in the return game. ah, there’s more points for the Jets D. But I hope the Boys do prove you right, they well could.

by scottmaui on Nov 13, 2008 9:05 PM CST up reply actions

almost all the NE players are fools gold...

i picked up faulk instead of ellis and he has 100 yards and a score…i drop faulk for ellis and he has nine yards….boo NE….

I got a good half out of Morris vs. DEN just getting my hopes up that a Pats RB would be reliable, then he went out, and now their back to committee. 4 backs had a carry in the first quarter, and Cassell is the leading rusher!

Cassell is having a monster night

by scottmaui on Nov 13, 2008 10:02 PM CST up reply actions

yeah

he is actually clutch in the end.

Want to see poor offensive schemes?

Exhibit A: the New York Football Jets

They have totally shut down the offense so far in the second half by taking the air out of the ball. And it’s gonna cost them when NE starts chipping away at their lead.

by Urinal Mint on Nov 13, 2008 9:33 PM CST reply actions

its like the opposite of us last year, high scoring first half, horrible second half

Please NT

It’s incredible the change in the Jets defense with an active wide body in the middle. And in our case, it would shore up two positions, because a true nosetackle bumps Ratliff to one of the ends, where he would probably be a far more active player than either of our current starters.

by BigDinSC on Nov 13, 2008 10:14 PM CST reply actions

That's why you don't shut your offense down in the 2nd half

You absolutely can’t afford to go ultra-conservative with your gameplan and hope to sit on a lead.

by Urinal Mint on Nov 13, 2008 10:29 PM CST reply actions

well

Favre would have thrown ints if they didn’t…

Jesus, NY...

you couldn’t hold them off for 1 lousy minute?!!!

by Pete222 on Nov 13, 2008 10:30 PM CST reply actions

Prolly could have got odds on 400 yards for the year for him at the start of the season.

OT football is a good. Embrace it.

by jkdallas on Nov 13, 2008 10:34 PM CST up reply actions

Be nice if Romo can duplicate Favre’s game on Sunday night

by jkdallas on Nov 13, 2008 10:43 PM CST up reply actions

Ha..

Belichik shook his hand but was out of there pretty quick — Mangini was still talking to him as he was running away.

by Pete222 on Nov 13, 2008 10:44 PM CST reply actions

Yeah well,

I’m sure he wasn’t saying anything very nice

Belichick is such a sour puss

… Almost makes Parcell’s after game pressers look like fun

by jkdallas on Nov 13, 2008 10:52 PM CST reply actions

he has good reason

now that they can’t spy on other teams’ sidelines and practices it makes it so much harder to win…

I commented. You're welcome.

So I had a dream last night

It had all sorts of bizarre stuff in it, but the one thing I remember most was the Cowboys completely shutting down the skins to give them a big fat goose egg, and more importantly, an L in the loss column! Man we could really use that kind of a confidence boost!
