Adam Jones completes alcohol rehab
Dallas Cowboys cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones has completed the requirements for alcohol counseling, as mandated by the NFL following his latest violation of the league's personal conduct policy.
Jones' attorney, Worrick Robinson, said Jones has returned to Dallas and is awaiting a ruling from NFL commissioner Roger Goodell on the possibility of reinstatement.
"I have been in contact with the commissioner's office since last week, and they are reviewing Adam's unique situation. There is no timetable for a decision. He is glad to be back in Dallas," Robinson wrote ESPN's Ed Werder in a series of text messages Tuesday.

if he does get reinstated and accepted back to the boys...
i’d like him to sit out a few weeks… get his legs back under him, keep learning the defense… if the rookies seem to be having a bad game, or if someone gets injured, then ok throw him in there… but the only reason i want him back on the team this year is for depth purposes, learning purposes (play a small role and accept that, show us you want to be here next year) and to return punts and even kickoffs (he hadn’t done anything this year i understand, but i mean… cmon, hes dynamic, he’ll find his groove eventually…and that could lead to big dividends down the line against pitts, nyg, eagles, etc etc) In no way would I allow him to disrupt the growth of our young, talented, speedy, effective cb’s jenkins and scandrick

Good point
I don’t think he should be a starter right away either
Cowboys fan since 1978.. I was 3 years old
Jones' punishment has been enough
The commissioner has made his point; players need to respect the NFL’s rules. Jones has served an extended sentence – not to mention an extremely expensive one… now it’s time to give the guy another shot. If the commissioner was willing to forgive Jones and allow him to start the season, he sure as heck should not let this relatively small incident extend any longer.
If he is not reinstated soon, I will start losing respect for the commissioner’s office. They have the power to do whatever they want, which brings to mind the expression: “Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely.”
Do the right thing, Goodell.
Tar Heels football will surprise this year
it's hard to respect it when...
a suspension for a cocaine charge can be appealed, but a broken mirror gets you “indefinitely” suspended.
i know he’s a repeat offender, and i think Pac hasn’t shown great judgment, but this is getting ridiculous.

Even if the Commish reinstates him, Jerry may not!!
There has been talk of JJ cutting his losses, etc etc, but personally, with Austin out now as KR and Felix still nursing the Hammy, I’d be hesitant to put Felix back in as KR. That’s where I think Pacman might be able to help the team right away without risk of disrupting anything in the defense. Granted, he didn’t exactly light it up as a PR when he was active, but KR is an entirely different animal with more space and time to maneuver, he might be just what the doctor ordered and actually provide some value to the team.
