I guess that means we really sucked, 4-2 with a couple close losses. Losing a pro bowl qb is a much larger blow than most injuries, and complaints and all the cowboys were doing fine before the injury. People wanted 14-2 or 13-3 and that wasnt coming, but it was still better than most nfl teas.

To put my mind off the Cowboys
Cuban lost all my respect a long time ago, but he really screwed you guys over getting rid of Devin Harris (and subsequently Avery Johnson) for Jason Kidd. Wait, this sounds familiar:
Mark Cuban = Jerry Jones
Avery Johnson = Bill Parcells
Jason Kidd = Terrell Owens
Nope, trying to get my mind off the cowboys didn’t work.
by Cavazos on Nov 2, 2008 6:19 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs

Wow, Cuban was right about the water down there. And Avery Johnson deserved the boot for the 180 he pulled with the Kidd/Harris situation. That trade had his fingerprints all over it (along with Donnie boy and Cuban). When it failed and he was let go…he flipped the script as if he was a proponent of Devin. Avery ruined Devin

no one handed them a superbowl, they won it, plain and simple. They deserve all the credit they get. In a year and a half, the giants have lost one game on the road since the opening loss in dallas to start the year.. What has Dallas done???? Over hype, over rated, that;s the cowboys

Do We Have Even One Good Coach?
I’m thinking we don’t. Wade? Lost. Brian? Even more lost. Garrett? Brain dead play calling. Hudson Houk? Guys running around in our backfrield every play, with a bunch of high-paid linemen. Bruce Read? Don’t make me laugh. Campo? Right.
Our tight ends coach is pretty good, I guess. So guess I can say we have one good coach.
This team is in utter disarray, and our coaching flat out stinks.

This iteration of the Cowboys will never win the Super Bowl.
They have no grasp of the basic intangibles necessary to win in the postseason.
1. Too many penalties.
2. Bad Line.
3. Turnover Prone QB, no matter who’s in there.
4. Swiss cheese D.
5. Can’t tackle.
6. No ability to consistently pressure the QB.
6. No discipline. No heart. This team is soft.
This team is basically an All-Star team composed by JJ. I don’t fault JJ because the team looks good on paper, but there’s so much more to it than that.

Well, a lot of that is true, but you still have to consider signing like Pacman, Tank, and TO.
In any case, Jerry is just doing what he thinks is best for the team. What he needs is a coach to play the foil to his tendencies. The Cowboys needs a coach that will stand up to Jerry and hold players accountable. Wade is not that coach. I was wrong in that I thought maybe Wade would be a good change of pace, and maybe he was for a little bit, but the honeymoon is over.

I just hope Romo is ready to go in two weeks. Props to the Giants. They whooped The Boys and imho are the best team in the NFC right now.

I still think the Eagles are the best team in the NFC, when healthy
but the giants are right there with them
