Why are the cowboys wearing their throwbacks a week before thanksgiving?

I noticed teams have started wearing their throwbacks multiple times a year, but these jersey’s should stay on thanksgiving only. They’ll probably wear them back to back weeks now.

Just Curious

Does anyone know if ‘Pacman’ counted against the 53 man roster while on suspension?

by Vegas Cowboy on Nov 23, 2008 11:36 AM CST reply actions

Don't Think So

I believe the league granted a roster exemption for his position.

No,

suspended players don’t count against your roster.

Yeah

I would say he’s basically taking Felix’s spot. But we’ll have to cut someone if we bring in a third running back

by APerfectStar on Nov 23, 2008 11:51 AM CST reply actions

I heard them on one of the local pre-game shows here in DFW talking like it was pretty sure he would start..I caught the tail end of it, but

they were saying it won’t be as bad for him this week since 49’rs don’t have a Santana Moss….figured they had to be talking about T-New

by Loozeeana_Cowboy on Nov 23, 2008 11:52 AM CST up reply actions

Ya thats what the team website says…It makes me nervous though. We have good rooks that I would put in instead of a gimpy newman…we will see

by Vegas Cowboy on Nov 23, 2008 11:53 AM CST up reply actions

I also want to see some Choice

this game. Felix isn’t coming back and they need to limit MB3’s carries at least slightly. Give the kid about 5-10 touches at least.

by Tristan on Nov 23, 2008 11:54 AM CST reply actions

I'LL 2nd that motion! That kid (choice) has some fire...runs with some passion. I think that's what happens when

you have dedicated players for the rookies to look up to…in Choice’s case it’s the Barbarian..and we know nobody runs with more heart than that dude

It's not just Newman...

This entire defense has never established a toughness and discipline around the game.

I dunno if it is the 3-4 and Dallas never acclimating or what, but I almost expect dallas’ defense to blow it when they play.

Getting out of that first quarter only down 6-0 is a coup

There are three more quarters to turn this around, and we are down less than a touchdown.
