Running the ball
Love the game TO is having. I don’t get one thing though – why don’t the Boys ever run the ball straight ahead? I feel like the runs are always draws, delays, from the shotgun, etc. Just pound it up the middle with a fullback already!

You people saying Flo is stupid need to get your facts right
He’s deaf in his right ear. Let’s see any of you play OL in the NFL with that.
by mhuff13 on Nov 23, 2008 1:56 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Is he totally deaf?
I feel like medical technology should be able to help, but admittedly I’m not sure how a hearing aid would hold up playing football.
by grapejoos on Nov 23, 2008 1:57 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
You see, this is the problem with the announcers
Buck called Flo’s False Start “Inexcusable”. Actually it’s very excusable, when you consider that he is legally deaf in his play-side ear and STILL is an elite left tackle in the NFL. No one knows about his handicap because the “analysts” don’t report it, and bash him for every false start.

so question…is it good for us tht Andy Reid gets Fired? Consider Boys dont make playoffs..they we have teams like eagles, Boys etc going after same coaching talent like Cowher etc. and considering we have jerry Jones…
by AJA on Nov 23, 2008 2:53 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
I don't think Cowher goes to Philly
A good way to tarnish your legacy in Pittsburgh is to play across the state

It would be worse to coach Dallas
I grew up near Pittsburgh. You have no clue the depth of their hatred of the Cowboys.
by mhuff13 on Nov 23, 2008 2:56 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Can't argue there
But I grew up in eastern PA, and I don’t know if its the same in the west, but Philly hates Pittsburgh

Interesting point
In any event it’s pretty much out of the Cowboys’ control, unless they miss the playoffs and are directly competing with Philly for Cowher. I can’t see Cowher coming to Dallas.
by grapejoos on Nov 23, 2008 2:56 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Will Philly get a GM who actually values warm bodies at the wide receiver position?
That’s the bigger question.
by MadMick on Nov 23, 2008 2:56 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Reid makes the personnel decisions
and I would hope any competent GM would get some receivers in there. The irony of getting good receivers as you show a good QB the door is awesome.
