Marion Barber, who jogged into the locker room during the last minute of the first half after getting his right foot checked out on the sideline, is back on the bench. He’s still wearing his shoulder pads, which is obviously a good sign. Still no official word on him.

talking about how sorry they are about holmgren gettin’ his tail whooped and having a sorry team…but when we lose it’s all about how undisciplined we are and how poor we’ve been playing….just once, i’d like them to play that same violin for us….we did lose our starting QB and best CB and best rookie for extended periods of time you know…

there were a lot of things to like about this game

the offense scored TDs on the first three drives with superb efficiency. slowed down later on, but still put up another 13 points.

the defense kept them out of the end zone, even if they did give up yards.

the win is tempered by concern about Barber and Ware, but a good win nonetheless.

You should ask Blue Thru n Thru...

Apparently our season wouldn’t have been over with both of them lost. If we somehow made the playoffs without both of them would we have been able to make any noise? No. They’re just as valuable to this team as Owens and Newman for instance. We need all of our horses down this stretch!
