How has Demarcus Ware's record breaking sack gone unnoticed?
With 15 sacks this season, Demarcus Ware now holds the Dallas Cowboys record for the most sacks in a single season. Since the sack became official, the record was 14...set by Jeffcoat in 1986 and Demarcus last year.
I'm not sure that I've read anywhere that he set the franchise record. I guess the mediots in the Dallas media are too worried about Pacman coming back than our franchise defensive stud setting a team record.

Heck yeah,
and isn’t he also on the longest streak of games with a sack? Isn’t that either 14 or 15?
I think NFLNetwork said it was 11 and he was trying to break it during maybe the Tampa game?
I have noticed a new resurgence in Cowboy hating in 2007, which can only mean one thing- We're back.

yeah
he tied the record, but then he didn’t have a sack against the Bucs. Came very close on their last drive but not quite.
currently leads the NFL in sacks this year too of course.

I had predicted 20 sacks for Ware this season....
He’s starting to make me look like Nostradamus.
4 games left…5 more sacks…I think he gets it done.
A true diehard Cowboys fan since 1975.
"If you don’t take him off the field as a coach, he will just about die out there," Jerry Jones said. "That impacted my decision. It’s a Michael Irvin-type work ethic. That’s what we are talking about with Felix Jones."

what I like
is how his sack totals have increased every season from 8 to 11 to 14 to probably 17-20.
Ware has definitely earned a spot on the All-Time Dallas Cowboys Roster as one of the outside linebackers, opposite Chuck Howley. With Lee Roy Jordan in the middle since they’d be in a 4-3, naturally.

The only reason for that
is that howley had more before sacks were an official stat…but soon everyone will notice…also when he tied the consecutive games with a sack barely got mentioned…pure bs
