Cheddar Bob Burress

Star-divide

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

I'm trying to contain my laughter long enough to make this post. I just wanted to know if any of you guys had seen the story about Plaxico Burress accidentally shooting himself in the leg. This is hilarious. If are a professional athlete, and you think you are enough of a target to carry a loaded pistol, I understand. But try puttin the safety on next time homie.

I am personally revoking Plax's ghetto pass..... for life, cause shootin yourself in the leg definitely ain't gangsta.

I love the Cheddar Bob reference!

Where will you be when the Sixers hoist the Larry O'Brien trophy? Hopefully Liberty Ballers.

yea,

tough to explain to Comish. Rodge how your own gun accidently went off while you were out drinking one night….

which leads me to this…………….

I am not expecting the Giants to be any worse without Plax, but who are we routing for this weekend..????
Are we routing for the Giants to beat the Skins so the Skins are a game back from us..
OR
are we routing for the Skins so MAYBE the Giants will slip and we have a shot at the division?

root for the Giants

Winning the division is not going to happen unless the Giants have a collapse of historic proportions, and they seem to good to have that happen

Well until more details

come in, which should be today or tomorrow he could be out for the year. I doubt the gints Def will be able to limit teams scoring to offset the loss of plax. Hixon is a good player but this is like losing TO for the gints, he may not have a lot of catches but when he does they are big and he commands the def attention. The potential loss of this player is bigger than it looks.

i like the way you are thinking

but it’s the Giants running game, offensive line, and defensive lines that are winning games for them.. NOT Plax catching a lot of TDs OR Plax’s presensce on the field opening it up for other players…

i won’t go as far as to say they are BETTER without him, but they are not much worse at all….

by stephena on Nov 29, 2008 11:56 AM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Yes, but if teams load up against the run who will be the main threat, kevin boss

hixon, toomer. All of them are not going to consistently demand double coverage, if dallas can play aggressive cb play and load up against the run it will all fall on sheli to carry them and that is the strategy I would take.

Kool Aid

that you are pouring, I am drinkin’……

i like that chances of the Giants losing when they don’t have Plax, better than when they do…. but i don’t think they will just fall apart…

by stephena on Nov 29, 2008 12:10 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I concure

the gints will not just fall apart but I believe that it limits their off and will affect their def against a balanced team that can score a lot of points and a def that can stop the run.

yea, i think

our D is good ENOUGH to stack for the run and then our O with Romo can outscore the Giants…
and the Giants schedule is pretty tough the rest of the way… (well, so is ours, but i am looking for some hope that the Giants can stumbull)
@ Washington, Philly, @Dallas, Carolina, @Minnesota

I guess i can get really excited IF they lose to Washington then all this speculation can begin.. oh yea, and find out how long Burress will miss, either because of the injury or if he gets diciplined by the league or team….
as far as tomorrow, i keep seeing that jacobs and Bradshaw for the Giants are beat up.. mmmmm going to be an interesting month…

So does God-ell go into mandatory

suspension mode for a player carrying a firearm into a nightclub? We all know how that turns out sometimes..

I bet the suspension, if any,

Will match the amount of rehab time.

he doesn't have a concealed carry permit in NY

He has some serious legal problems

PFt is saying he had no concealed carry permit and in NYC

that is supposedly a manditory 3.5 years. He also shot himself while unloading it after being confronted about it by a security guard.mwahahahaha what an asshat.

this is the beginning of the end for the Giants

I see this as a big distraction for them to deal with and it will affect their play on the field

In Romo we Trust

If Burress

Were to miss major time yes, but if not I don’t think so..

it was a through and through

didn’t hit any any major artery or bone, two weeks probably unless the giants suspend him for conduct detrimental to the team

by Deke on Nov 30, 2008 7:15 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

But A. Pierce is involved too

so who knows if one or both will miss a few games down the stretch.

by Billito on Nov 30, 2008 7:25 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I heard he's been very cooperative with the investigation

in finding the whereabout of the gun in question, so I dont see him getting into any trouble. I dont see being with an idiot who accidently shoots himself as a crime…and suspendable offense

by Deke on Nov 30, 2008 7:51 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

agreed

I think we have a really good chance in beating a Plaxico-less Giant team if we don’t come out of the Pitt game to banged up..

That does not appear to be the case. He was supposed to talk to the police the day Cheddar

turned himself in . He did not and his SUV has apparently been impounded(the SUV was where thay found the gun). Pierce better not live in Jersey cause if he transported the weapon across state lines he too is in trouble. Hey i wouldn’t mind if he was no in the line up next weekend. f Pierce and the gnats!

i wouldn't go jump on their site just yet

they’re still playing good ball with or without plax

i think the other moron (not tony) on PTI said it best,

“the cowboys, if they get healthy, are the only team i see that can beat the new york giants.”

I commented. You're welcome.

Excellent.

What’s Tiki doing there, though? He’d probably be too busy curled up by the fireplace with a good book to be hangin’ with the homies.
