Romo returns to practice

IRVING, Texas -- Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is practicing again.

Romo was back on the field Wednesday, taking snaps and throwing passes with a small splint on his throwing hand. He's missed the last three games with a broken pinkie.

Romo said he had no problems during a morning walk-through. He was headed to a full-scale practice later in the afternoon and remains optimistic about returning for Dallas' next game, a week from Sunday at Washington.

thats my boy!

Seeing Tony slinging that pigskin around again will make my eyes feel soooooo good.

They’re still getting over the pain of watching BJ try to throw, I don’t know if they could have taken another game, honestly.

Alcohol

It’s the only way they can cope.

Another game with Bad Brad at the helm, and I might hit the bottle myself.

It sure will be nice to see bullets coming out to our receivers instead of wounded ducks. LOL

While this is good news, don't expect miricles

He will surley be better than Brad , but as Grizz said, his comments were mighty tenative. I don’t expect him to come in at 100% of what he was and with his past hx of turn overs and the line playing at an all time low, I am even more pessimistic and will hold a wait and see attitude before I get my hopes up that the season is saved.

Anyway, It is good news!

Anyone else notice this?

So I have held off saying anything for over a month now (since the Bungles game), thinking someone else would have seen the same thing. Starting with the Redskins game, I watched Tony Romo clinch his hand and shake it after each time he went to the ground, or even running down the field. Now this around the same time you started seeing passes come out low and wobbly, where I am going with this is that Tony will never come out and say it, but I think that his throwing hand was injured long before the overtime play against the Cardinals, that play just set him over the top and caused the most damage.

I don’t have game footage of all those games, but I would bet anyone who went back and watch the broadcasts, since nothing else would give you a camera panning back to the QB when the play is over, you would be able to see Tony shake and clinch his fist as if it were stiff and just not quite right. I’d love to know if anyone else saw this.

Interesting point...

I knew the pass to T.O. in OT of the ARI game was bad and there had to be a reason behind it.

I've got them all on DVR

As much as I hate to view a loss, this intrigues me enough to go and check it out.

I'll love to find out

for sure. You start to see the ball coming out of his hand funny with the Bengals. And to be honest I have watched the replay of the last hit against Arizona, and i just don’t see where he would have broken it on that hit. And in the 2 (full) seasons worth of games he has played I have never seen passes just come out like they had been.
