Giants Unmotivated?

I've seen many "experts" picking Dallas to win because they'll be more desperate for a win.  I'm sure Dallas will be more desperate, but they act like the Giants have nothing to play for.

If the Giants lose this weekend, they'll be in a dogfight for 1st seed in the playoffs (with Carolina).  Did you see the Panthers thrash the Bucs Monday night?  I did, and am pretty sure the Gints would rather play Carolina (if they meet a 2nd time) in New Jersey than Charlotte.

So, I don't buy it that the Giants have nothing to play for.  Besides, it's Giants-Cowboys...isn't that reason enough?

Even if the Giants win on Sunday

And get to 12-2 they’d still need to beat Carolina the following weekend, (assuming the Panthers win at home against the Broncos this Sunday and get to 11-3), to assure themselves of home field.

So, technically the game against Dallas this Sunday plays a very small part in their quest for home field advantage because either way they still have to beat the Panthers on 12/21.

Nope

I don’t see a scenario where two intra-divisional opponents vying for playoff seeding come into a game unmotivated. Dallas is certainly the more desperate of the two, but to say this isn’t a big game for the Giants is flat-out wrong.

Giants unmotivated?

At a chance to help eliminate Dallas from the playoffs??? I guarantee that is going through their minds all week.

Garrett needs to get a clue!

No team in the NFC East

is unmotivated against the Cowboys. And that includes some non NFC East teams as well.
