Trouble in Paradise
ESPN is claiming that TO has a problem with Witten getting more catches than him.
Ok so this is exactly what we need right now. TO fighting with Romo and Witten. WHY HAS THIS YEAR BEEN SO CRAZY? This week's game is going to be a real test. If TO doesn't get on the same page as everybody else we could be in real trouble. How are we supposed to win with people's attitudes like this?

To be more exact
all the WRs had a private meeting w/garrett, not just TO and I believe that is how they should handle it. I also like that during WP PC he said that Austin is ahead of schedule; me likey.

Now I tell you what....
I am happy this issues is out in the wild because this is how it is going to roll down -
We are going in for the biggest win of the season Cowboys 27 Giants 13. Owens 2 TD, Barber 1 TD. Romo 312 yds.
TO will be TO in his press conference and will address this issue with an askance.
Romo as usual will be wearing the goofy hat and glad over the win.
Our D would have put up another awesome performances of Sunday Night and would walk out of the field prouder than ever but humble enough to know that it is far from over.
All go home happy and prepare for the Ravens.
Oh and most importantly, Werder will either be blocked from the locker room or will get a humiliating treatment from the DC crew.

i'm superstitious...
…don’t jinx da team.
Here’s my prediction for the Cowboys’ epic battle against the G-Men in NFL Week 15:
Romo’s gonna turn the ball over five times, get hurt, and be out for the remainder of the season.
The Defense is gonna regress into that passive soft zone and give up over 400 total yds to the Giants O.
Wind and Fire will explode for over 200 yds rushing.
The Giants will win 31-7
TO is gonna finally erupt like Mount Vesuvius.
More key players will sustain serious injuries.
Dallas will go on to lose to Baltimore AND Philadelphia and continue their trademark December slide.
Wade Phillips will be fired.
The sky is falling.

yeah...
I’m sure that the crippled Cowboys are going to put on one hell of a fight against a pissed off Giants team.
Look, I feel for you guys.
The eagles are hitting their stride having suffered injuries early in the season and are now at full strength, while you and the redskins can’t keep from getting a cold let alone a sprain. Unfortunately, I see this game as being the tipping point. You’re going to lose a close battle because you’re secondary will not be able to contain the Giants running attack forever. I say secondary because the Giants are going to work your edges all night long, and you’re secondary can’t hold a candle to the eagles secondary against the run.
The G-Men have this one. And TO will implode. And Wade will be fired. And Jones will name himself as Head Coach. Giants 38-17

I hate ESPN so much.
I barely watch it anymore. Everybody’s kicking us while we’re down and I’m not liking it one bit.
Where will you be when the Sixers hoist the Larry O'Brien trophy? Hopefully Liberty Ballers.

that's
what happens when you’re a top franchise and people care about it (i.e. Yankees).
It's called Sex Panther by Odeon. It's illegal in nine countries... Yep, it's made with bits of real panther, so you know it's good.

and some of you think this is BS, then today a meeting with Garrett and receivers, hmmm, seems to be trouble with the big baby in the group, I can see T.O now in the meeting with garett, It’s not fair, tony’s throwing more to Witten, his buddy, if I dont get more passes, I’m taking my ball and going home….. tick, tick, tick wait for the explosion!!!

You dont throw players or assistants under the bus when they tell you off the record or dont want their name published
players and assistants wouldn’t talk to any of these reporters about inside the locker rooms if you were going to out them in thr press. He quoting players and sources in the organization, it’s not conjecture on his part,…..yes, some people aren’t to bright indeed

I don't think it's that big of a deal
but he did name Bradie James:
Whenever the fire gets blazing, I know,‘’ James said. "Sometimes, I don’t want to step on anybody’s toes, but we all talk.
"It just is what it is … It’s just two different guys, two different personalities and they know what’s at stake. They know that everybody needs them. And there’s no dislike. It’s just sometimes, not everybody is going to see eye to eye. That’s what makes a football team.’’
Fire Todd Dodge. Seriously. 45 given up in the 1st quarter. Wow. But still we're better than Washington! Oh and, SUCK IT WESTERN KENTUCKY! 1-10 baby!

I may not be a Romo homer, but I'm a TO apologist.
I’ll give him the benefit of a doubt.

It’s time to stop apologizing for him and giving him the benefit of the doubt. Now it’s just doubt…….

jerry jones
is getting exactly everything he deserves. the man just does not know the first thing about running a good football orginization. he brings in prima donna troublemakers and wanna be gangster criminals, throws his star running back under the bus treads because he’s hurt, and has the axe twirling over his head coach with the ultimatum of hand me the lombardi or hand me your resignation. money does not buy super bowl wins and no amount of cash and flash will make the cowboys a class act again. sorry about your lousy team cowboy fans…hopefully jerry will take a hint from this season and get out of his own way next year. look on the bright side, though. at least he’s not al davis….yet.

Amen, Se7ens
I’m a life long Cowboys fan but I am not a blind homer. Jerry won 2 Super Bowls because of Jimmy’s personnel decisions and discipline and 1 last one as a Jimmy leftover. Other than that, it has been years of drafting futility, excuses, meddling, puppet coaches and three ring circuses. He has taken what Schramm and Landry built and put his cheesy stamp on it. Like a child, he grabs whatever shining object catches his eye (TO, Pacman, Deon, et al.) and thinks it will finally prove he is a “football man”. Those of you who think this latest TO episode is no big deal, wait until Sunday. Se7ens is right, Jerry is going to get everything he deserves. We’re going 8-8, he’ll fire Wade and on to the next Puppet Regime.

They just had an outstanding draft!
And here the Cowboys are with another contender just a decade removed from their last dynasty. The team is overall very young and still has its best days ahead of them.
If this team finishes 8-8 it will be because of injuries and mediocre coaching not Jerry Jones.
Who would you rather see own the team? The Ford family?

3 Super Bowl Trophies...
Is better than most owners can do.
How many times have the Giants gone back to back… Oh yeah zero… And they won’t be doing it again this year. Mark my words the Giants will lose in the post season this year and I’ll be laughing the hardest as this real "character" team they’ve put together in New York goes down and remains two Vince Lombardy trophies behind the Cowboys.
As it is if Brady doesn’t have an ankle injury in last year’s super bowl the Giants wouldn’t have won that game either.

The Giants earned that Super Bowl...
To be honest, they’re definitely the team to beat this year. They seem to only beat themselves when they do lose…I hope that changes Sunday but, come on, you completely missed the point with that little rant…
by AikmanNailedMySis on Dec 12, 2008 10:02 AM CST up reply actions 0 recs
What point did I miss?
My rant is no more outrageous than se7ens was. He’s claiming that an owner that already has 3 rings to his credit and has a new generation of players in contention again now, is sub par. While suggesting, (I assume) that the Giants are an organization loaded with class and are the clear example of how to run the franchise, (as if Burress and Pierce should be over looked).
The Giants have, without question been the team to beat for most of this season but I still think they’ll run out of gas before it’s through. I personally do not think that they will complete the back to back. Perhaps Sunday’s game will regrettably go a long way towards proving me wrong.
I just don’t think that winning one super bowl every 17 years is the superior example of how to run a franchise.
0 = The number of Super Bowls the Eagles have won.

i don't
think my comments were outrageous at all. every fan outside of texas knows that jones is unquestionably the wrong person to be making personnel decisions in that franchise. t.o? he’s fallen out of favor with every team he’s been on because of his ego. pacman? a criminal. even worse actually – a dumb ass criminal. has either changed or made an effort to not be a distraction to the team? no need to answer that one because everyone knows the answer already. even jerry himself has been in the media for his recent barber comments which does not help his team or foster a sense of unity. i think that more than anything is the main problem – the cowboys are a group of individuals instead of one cohesive unit where no one part is greater or more important than the sum.
