Consider this!
So some of you know that I'm a diehard Eagles fan, and I'm not hear to bash on the Cowboys in any way, shape, or form, especially after last night! But I have come here to say this. Lets suppose that Atl or Tampa lose one more game, lets say that Atl does not win out and they dump a game to the vikings, which I think is likely since the Vikings are 5-1 at home. Also, lets suppose that the Cowboys win next week and the Eagles win against Cleveland and Washington (which is highly likely given that the Browns and the Skins are looking like crap). So given all of that....
...How amazing is that last game of the season going to be between the Cowboys and Eagles?! I can already hear the hype for that game brewing. The winner goes on and the loser goes home. It's going to be incredible and even though we were all talking at the beginning of the season about meeting again in the NFC championship game, I think this is going to be even more awesome.
It's going to be a cold wintery night in Philadelphia and I think for these two teams it's going to be a matchup for the ages, it's going to be one of those games that'll have it's own name and we'll be able to say, "yeah, I remember that game. It was incredible."
Anyway, I know that you're still excited about your win last night, as you should be, I just wanted to throw that out there to see if you fellas thought that would be awesome as well.
Go Eagles!

I ran some scenarios last night
And both the Eagles and Cowboys could go to the playoffs. If the Eagles win out, they are in due to the tie not being a loss. Better record and all. But the Cowboys still have an outside shot at losing to you guys (as long as they beat Baltimore, which will be tough) and still getting in.
But of course when the Cowboys go 2-0 the next 2 weeks it won’t matter. =)

That
would be awesome. Eagles/Cowboys is always good TV, but that would be even sweeter!
It's called Sex Panther by Odeon. It's illegal in nine countries... Yep, it's made with bits of real panther, so you know it's good.

hmm..
I think I’d rather play Philly with a chance to make the playoffs, then Philly out of it and just playing spoiler. That’s just me though…..

the game would not matter to dallas in philly

I'm not sure it's that simple
If Atl and TB only lose once, it would still be a bunch of tiebreakers to figure it out. Not to mention if Chicago wins out, they would also be tied with us (with conference record as well if we lose to Philly, then it would go to win loss record among common games).

that's not true
If Philly wins tonight and next week and If Dallas wins Saturday against Baltimore and either Tampa or Atlanta loose next week, the winner of the Philly/Dallas game gets in, the loser is out.
Remember Philly if they win tonight, they’re only a half game back of Dallas, Tampa and Atlanta

You're half right
If Tampa or Atlanta lose next week, there’s still a chance Dallas could get in with a win against Baltimore and a loss against Philly. Both NFC East teams could get in. However, if Dallas beats Philly both of them can’t get in.

I'd rather the Eagles lose tonight
So we don’t have to worry about it.

yea
get them off our backs
i was saying that about the redskins a few weeks ago and now they’re at .500
lets let the eagles drop next
and some ppl are talking about the boys-eagles game being flexed to sunday night
even if it does have those implications i’d bet the jets-dolphins game will get flexed if both teams win next week…then it will be a game to see who wins the division and who gets into the playoffs and who stays home
Superbowl or Bust?

"The winner goes on and the loser goes home"
wait a second that reminds me of something…a playoff game. Not really a great game just showing that our teams are both desperate and the playoffs have started early for us.

We all thought that we would be a the top of the NFC and it turns out that is not the case, but either way, it still has the makings for a great game.
