Watching the game on NFL.com
I live in one of the areas affected by Hurricane TWC and will not be able to see the game this weekend unless I go hang out at a sports bar. I promised myself I'd never do that again (because the first and last time I watched a game in a sports bar was on 1/06/07). So I was thinking I might try to watch the game on NFL.com.
Has anyone watched a game online? Is it free? Is the NFL Network broadcast? Cause the site makes it sound like it's an alternate broadcast (they call it a companion broadcast).

I could be wrong
But what the NFL does on their site is not a good substitute for the game. They show highlights and give updates – actually I guess a “companion broadcast” is a good name for it.
There are tons of places online where you can watch the game on a live stream on your computer, but make sure you have a good connection and are willing to put up with some level of frustration. I’ve sat down more than once to do that (like last year against the Panthers) and have usually given up by the half because of problems with the stream.
Wait til gametime...
Mad people on this blog post streams of the game, and passwords (if necessary). Your best bet would be something like JustInTV, but like I said, someone will post the link, guaranteed…Not the best quality in the world but hey, you won’t pay $4 a beer haha

Out in the sticks
and don’t get NFL network, so I tune in the radio broadcast of the game (Brad Sham) and catch some of the highlights on NFL.com or catch one of the video streams mentioned above.
Over the years, I have gone to Brad on the radio when I couldn’t get the TV game. Not the same as watching, of course, but you are still part of the action.
Keep doing what you been doing, keep getting what you been getting.
