I am pissed
at the NFL. I have been a Cowboy fan as far as I can remember, since I was 3 or 4 watching with them with my dad. All the memories, games Sundays through all the good times all the badd losses. And with the final milestone at Texas Stadium, FINAL GAME, I have to leave my house to some sports bar to watch Texas Stadium host it’s last game! Not only that it is against the Ravens, we really have no history with them. When the schedule came out I looked for the last home game, and just couldn’t believe this was it. Now that it’s here and maybe means a spot in the playoffs it just pisses me off even more.

not the NFL's fault
Cowboys should of locked up a playoff spot along time ago.
I’m sure the NFL thought the last game would of been a playoff game.

I agree about it being the Ravens.
I mean, this should be Redskins/Cowboys, no doubt about it, and Sunday Night definitely.
I thought it was ridiculous to have an afc team in for the last game.

What a bigtime hit
but That was a dump playcall

You would have thought
the Colts would go all out to win this game then take the next two weeks off, taking it easy vs. Tennessee to give their hurting guys a rest for the playoffs over two weeks away. They don’t look so good for what is supposed to be one of the hottest teams in the league. So if they lose tonite and next week then the Ravens win out and grabg the #5 seed! Fine w/ me.

I think the Jags might have something to do with that, dont you??
they aren’t doormats….they aren’t going to roll over and give the colts the games
by Deke on Dec 18, 2008 8:54 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Jags won't roll over
just slide a bit to the side and let the Colts and then the Ravens next week, through.

Jags played a great game
but if the Jags lose, two plays cost them this game, a totol BS holding call that ended a drive and a fourth quarter int ran back for the go ahead score…

Funny thing is...
…I predicted a Manning Super Bowl a couple of weeks ago. Although Id rather see a Ravens-Cowboys rematch in SB43!

amazes me how teams are still unprepared when they get down field with under a minute…ya think ya might want to have 3 set designed plays where the QB just goes to the line and says PLAY 1 GO. Its better than spiking a ball to waste a down. And why the hell would Gerrard hold onto the ball for the game ending sack…doesn’t he know th TUCK rule. NFL coaching is not that good or these QBS are that dumb…not to mention the Jag TE who caught the tipped ball in the middle of the field with nowhere to go when he should have just batted it with hardly any time on the clock.

colts score at will…pretty amazing how the Colts have a super QB, 2 super receivers and a great TE and in 12 years the Ravens haven’t had a single one of these. and the best part about it..Indianapolis is not exactly an amazing market that oozes wealth.

It all starts with Manning
Peyton would make any receiver look like an All Pro.

Just pencil it in
Peyton Manning, league MVP.

Ive penciled in DWARE. He is the MVP of the whole league.

I'm as big of a Dallas fan as any...
and I would LOVE to see DeMarcus win the MVP, but I’m putting out a commoncents guarantee that the league MVP is going to be Adrian Peterson.

Cowboy Joe
Hey yall, this is way off topic, but I don’t really know where else to ask this. What is cowboy joe? is it the old cowboys logo or just some alternate logo? thanks for the help.

He isnt on any pace to break the single season record but Dware is.
You guys are probably right, offense rules and with Peyton and Peterson the deck is stacked against Ware. I was watching NFL Network at 430 this mourning and Rod Woodson and Jamie Dukes were giving Ware lots of love. Said when Strahan was trying to break the record the were doing a count down on all the shows with 5-6 games left to go. You arent hearing much about Ware. They also said they both think he will break it.
