No, I think it's Romo

what happened
to the offense that put up high 20’s 30’s points per game consistently
maybe its romos back or bad protection..good d’s we’re playing or w/e
but they have 9 straight points and we only scored cuz we got lucky
we need to step it up
we could lose this one

too many excuses for Antonio
I’m over giving him a pass every time he chokes on a big stage.

yeah big red needs to make some real adjustments
and get this O going in the second half

Romo
I’m not taking any fault away from him but he’s got somebody in his face everytime he dropped back.
by troysboys on Dec 20, 2008 8:48 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
yea
we need to give him more time
so he just doesnt chuck them up when theirs nothing else left to do
man we’re losing and they have scored 9 straight points and we only have a td cuz we only had like 6 yards to go
Superbowl or Bust?

WTF?
Is this crap???
Where the hell is our offense?
What’re the odds we can send a 6th orunder to San Diego and get Norv in here to call the 2nd half?
The playcalling…preparation…just sucks

WTF....
WTF is up with all the deep balls…..we have thrown more deep than short…its ridiculous

dumb throws…

it is romo but i wish the line would block he got away from a blizter only to make an int
by MdFan24 on Dec 20, 2008 8:48 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
He has to take what they give him
He’s trying to play the same way he does against a lesser defense.
He has to slow it down and find the holes in their coverage and not try to be the hero.

QB Lines
Joe Flacco: 11/15, 112 yards, no picks.
Tony Romo: 8/17, 59 yards, 2 ints.
Mr. Romo better relax and make better decisions, otherwise our season will soon be over.
He’s played like crap in previous Decembers. Now is the time to show that was a fluke.
by kindablue on Dec 20, 2008 8:49 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Yeah
who looks like the rookie in this game?
by Philosopher on Dec 20, 2008 8:49 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
romo is not getting any time to get reads
and t.o. had a huge chance to get a td but wow
they actually drove down the field and got points and our defense is stopping them with no rest
and we only have 1 td cuz it was only 4 yards to go
i mean our offense needs to make adjustments we’re losing they get the ball back and we HAVE to stop chucking it up and create a real drive

It's not like Romo is under more pressure this week than last, he's just forcing stuff. The middle was open for a first.

I think his back is still bothering him

Tony Romo’s fault in all, you gotta pick up the blitz.

we need to throw underneath

where we need to do
change the gameplan to being similar to the chicago game last year sending to on crossing routes

Shannon's the one that looks like Mr. Ed and slobbers all over the place.
That was actually Sterling and T.O. did blow 2 chances for TD’s in the first half.
by MadMick on Dec 20, 2008 8:52 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
can't blame TO for the second INT...
Romo grossly underthrew the ball
by thejanusman on Dec 20, 2008 8:54 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
The 2nd INT doesn't happen if T.O. is looking the right way on the previous play because they score a long TD.
by MadMick on Dec 20, 2008 8:54 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I agree...
But ROMO is free lancing a lot….it seems that he wants to prove everyone wrong by going deep on this defense…heck he tired from our own endzone
by thejanusman on Dec 20, 2008 8:56 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
doesn't change the fact, T.O's an idiot
he certainly doesn’t help his QB by making a tough catch, He’s dropped two tonight
by Deke on Dec 20, 2008 8:55 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs

it seems everyone is pressing….
do we just have problems with anyone named roy williams
by nicholas.rodriguez on Dec 20, 2008 8:53 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
we're not out of it yet
but we’re losing the game right now
and our offense is crap and we’re not picking up the blitz
flacco has been tearing us apart on the intermediate throws and our d is on the field too much
we need another turnover or something..pick off flacco and get the momentum back on our side
if we play like this the rest of the game then we dont deserve the playoffs
Superbowl or Bust?

Seriously...
This isn’t all on Romo…
The play calling is pathetic…we’ve only done 2 things tonight…
Run draws/delays and throw deep….you think Rex Ryan doesn’t know whats coming?
None of our bread and butter stuff. No crossing routes, no lining up and smacking em in the mouth with a power run game…no creativity….its a joke…I blame Garrett far more than Romo right now
by TLCM on Dec 20, 2008 8:54 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Agree. This is what I am afraid of. Red Ball sometimes leaves his adaptibility at home and this is one of those nights.
by letsgogetonefellas on Dec 20, 2008 8:55 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Is it...
That he’s not calling crossing routes, or is Tony just not hitting them?
by AirforceBat on Dec 20, 2008 8:56 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
+1 - on those long bombs, or should i say ducks, was the deep throw the only option that
was laid out for that play? on every play there should be several reads for the QB to make…i think a lot of that was on Romo
by Loozeeana_Cowboy on Dec 20, 2008 8:59 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
the play calling is horrible
but can’t a good qb make adjustement on the field regarding of the play calling ?
by Helene on Dec 20, 2008 8:56 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I don't think they're being called...
Hell Pittsburgh had the Ravens all screwed up last week by crossing receivers routes in the middle of the field…our WR’s are better than theirs.
Our run game has been great….so we stop doing it…
I’m sorry…Garrett needs to go…
He’s going to cost us this game

A few observations from a dumb Aggie
1. The playcalling is uncreative and uninspired.
2. Jason Garrett gives us the impression that plays can take 5-6 seconds to develop without issue
3. Romo only has eyes for Owens
4. Owens is dogging it
5. Do short crosses/slants/drags exist in our playbook? Where is the quick hitter? It’s disconcerting that our counter to consistent blitzes is the deep curl and deep post.
I just don’t understand this offense sometimes.
It’s like a Ferrari or Lamborghini. It may be the flashiest, fastest machine on earth, but it’s so finicky and figdety that often it’s in the garage with something broken.
by Urinal Mint on Dec 20, 2008 8:55 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
we need
to get the ball to crayton and austin and more
which then opens things up for t.o. and maybe roy e
keep using choice and stop chucking it deep every time unless t.o. or austin is steps ahead of the cb/safety
also we HAVE to protect better cuz we have more sacks than they do but they’re completing passes and getting field goals
Superbowl or Bust?

We're not looking at the obvious issue here...
It’s December and it’s just that time in the season when the Boys crash and burn. It’s not romo’s fault, it’s not T.O.‘s fault. The planets just align in December and January and pulls that ball off it’s tracks.
