ahh
good play call
i wish choice made the play but he’s been playing his heart out
lets hope the d holds them to a punt
maybe a pacman pick 6
get henry off the field btw
Superbowl or Bust?
i agree, but a QB sneak almost always gets the first down on short yardagesituations.

it's a high risk play....
your right if he catches it, we make the first down. but he didn’t and we lost three. that doesn’t happen with a QB sneak….
"They need security in the world, Craig!"
Does Garrett not believe in Quarterback sneaks?
That is one of the safest, high-percentage plays on 3rd or 4th and 1. Sheesh.

Its OK we are within a TD
You'll never get in a traffic jam, while going the extra mile. -Roger staubach
When you have the biggest (or 2nd biggest) line in football
And inches to go, you don’t run that play.
There comes a point where you man up and knock the other guys back 6 inches.
Choice just flat out dropped the ball
You want to run a QB sneak at two 340 lbs. when your QB has a bad back?
yes. he's got a center and guard in front of him. it's not like there's no blockers in front of him.
"I got a fever. And the only prescription is more cowbell." -- Bruce Dickinson
www.brainfriednetwork.com [NEWS/SPORTS/FOOTBALL]
i agree that choice messed up that play. and i actually like the call. but i'm just noticing that red ball rarely calls QB sneaks in short ydg.

finally. 3 is better than nothing. Jason should let Choice carry us.
It’s all Choice in the 4th qtr. If Romo can just complete a five yard pass once in a while it may be enough. If Romo tries to win it, we’ll lose it.
Turnover would be nice
But I’ll take a 3 and out
I'll check back in later, but I think the 'Boys can win this.

for Romo to break your hearts again? I get worried whenever the game is in Romo’s hands.

with that kick. Romo didn’t show up tonight so he doesn’t have to worry about not showing up in the playoffs
JJ gave away how many draft picks for Roy Williams?
We have major needs from the coaching staff, QB, DB’s, etc.
Maybe Treasury Sec’y Paulson will bail us out.

But you don’t know if your going to have another shot at a TD. I mean if you get an onside kick your looking at being close to FG position anyways.

I’ve had my mute on since the second qtr. I may have to watch, but I don’t want ot listen. Bring back Quincy Carter for crying out loud. Thank God it’s over. Deleted from TIVO and forgotten.
ware should ask flacco to give him a sack

That's my feeling
I’m dumbfounded
Too much time looking for the big strike rather then taking what the D was giving and putting together sustained drives.
Flacco did....And whipped us!!!

And we need one
Romo is NOT A BIG GAME QB
You'll never get in a traffic jam, while going the extra mile. -Roger staubach
He may not be
But look at everygame since he came back. If he lost any of those you guys would say he isn’t a big game qb, but since he won those games, he gets zero credit. i don’t get it.
Look at Ben R. QB Steelers
And Mcnabb since he got benched
Romo only starts playing when we are losing
and still never comes through in the clutch

how do u lose the last game at texas stadium
what kind of crap call was that at the end
and wade- if stacking the box didnt work the first time, dont try it again
i agree with deion just kick the onside and see if we can get a fg or something
we dont deserve the playoffs after that performance
maybe next year
Superbowl or Bust?
Not good enough
for the playoffs.
Pathetic.

If Romo loses the second game against the skins
He chokes in the big game. He wins. Zero Credit. Giants Game, backs against the wall again. Romo loses, he chokes. He wins. Zero credit. People just love watching him slip up.

Complete Team Loss
All 3 units had a hand in tonight’s loss. Absolutely pathetic.
Completely Agree
Bad punts cost a couple field goals. Offense couldn’t do anything for 3 and 1/2 quarters. Defense blew up at the end. Heartbreaking. As soon as you get excited about these guys, the roof caves in.
Someone's gotta go.
It can’t be just Romo and this bunch – you saw the stat, this crap has been going on for 11 years.
and what the only constant these last eleven years ?
Jerry Jones.
Players and coaches have come and gone, he stays. I like the guy but…
Longhorn? - what were you watching?
I think the loss is square on Romo’s shoulders
He was in his usual Dec form
the offensive line
could not protect romo and he had no time to make reads
and he also made stupid decisions
but flacco had all the time because their o-line adjusted to our pass rush
and did u not see romo get two td’s in like 3 minutes
our d fell apart
every coach called a bad game
i mean wade if stacking the box didnt work the first time dont try it again
jason garrett…call plays that work..learn something from the 1-15 coach cam cameron
we lost, plain and simple
we dont deserve the playoffs
Superbowl or Bust?
No problem with that play.
Just bad execution.

very true,,,

A Cowboy fan from Dallas residing in enemy terretory since 1990..
Exactly
It was the Team’s fault. They have little heart and little discipline. Yes, Romo lost it, but so did the D, so did the coaches. Quit pointing the finger and blame the whole team, cause thats who lost it.
As soon as the offense wakes up the D goes back to their old ways.
Do we have a rule that only one can play well at a time. I don’t think we’ve had a game all year where both played well at the same time.
joe flacco
played a great game and romo got hot at the end
but our d fell apart and wade made stupid decisions
and jason called an awful game throughout
Superbowl or Bust?
Correction
Dallas will again control their own destiny if EITHER Atlanta or Tampa Bay loses on Sunday. Atlanta plays in Minn…….This could still easily come down to the philly game
i wanna hear the post game pressers...i guess ESPN News will prob. carry them - they usually do
by Loozeeana_Cowboy on Dec 20, 2008 10:50 PM CST reply actions
What can you say about Ken Hamlin
That may be the worst game I’ve ever seen a defensive player have.
I hear you
But I can’t think of a game where Boz gave up two 70+ yard TDs.
Plus, it was kind of an outrageous night, so outrageous statements seemed appropriate.
and the fumble
on the kickoff return
stupid ed hochuli didnt give it to us
and t.o and miles both had potential td’s but romo couldnt get it there in the right place
the o-line was AWFUL romo was doing everything
we had 5 sacks in the first half and 0 in the second cuz they adjusted we didnt
flacco had so much time and hit us in the intermediate routes all day
they deserve the win cuz they brought it to us
but we also lost the game cuz of AWFUL coaching on all sides
Superbowl or Bust?
i was hoping wade would say that in the press conference
just to distract ppl from his possible unemployment
Superbowl or Bust?
I apologize to everyone
This Romo jersey I am wearing is CURSED. If you don’t believe me i can explain. I have worn it several times, but the game situations are absurd.
First game—Christmas 06’…Horrible game by Romo, the Sheagles spanked us
Second game—Cowboys Seahawks ’06..need i say more?
Third game—Romo’s interception debacle against the Bills last year (I took it off at halftime and he led us to victory.
Fourth game—Eagles this year (I took it off when we were losing, we end up winning)
Fifth game—Today (i did not take it off during the game)
HaHaHa
our playoff hopes are on Atlanta losing??
We’ll get our butts kicked by 2 Rookie QB’s in the SAME WEEKEND??

I just don't know if Wade is the right guy for us
He’s asked in the presser, “What did you say to the team after the game”
“Well there’s not much you really can say, it’s a tough loss.”
No accountability.
BIshop west
I see you are one those people who blame the quarterback for everything.I didn’t see Romo let to 70+ TD Runs, I didn’t see Romo fumble a sure kick return for a touchdown, I didn’t see romo fumble on a crucial first down run. What I was watching was a QB who barely had anytime time to throw, who, yes made a few mistakes, but rallied his team to a near victory

The sissy act of giving up 150 yards on two carries overrides holding a Joe Flacco-led offense to 4 field goals.

Sounds like a sorry excuse to me.
Tough defenses make plays to get their offense the ball back. Besides fatigue’s an idiotic argument as those runs were the first plays of each of those respective drives. How were they fatigued exactly?
Granted....
Those were sorry defensive plays.
especially when YOU KNOW they were going to run.
I really got no excuse for those 2 plays.
But the Defense played a helluva lot better than our anemic offense did tonight

It would have been a nice gain, but I don't know about a TD
In other news, it only took 16 weeks for Pacman to get a nice return.
I look at the entire season
The coach has not had his team up for all the games. It took till 7 games in to realize he needed to get more involved with the Defense. He didn’t know until after 3 starts that his back up QB sucked. He is afraid to make personnel changes.
I agree Bollinger should of been in aginst the giants the WHOLE game

So I flipped over to the post-game presser.
Why is Romo wearing that stupid little golf hat? He should be wearing something more like a dirty diaper on his head instead.
i wanted to see
romo start screaming and admitting we suck and we’ll get better
but still he always gives good press conferences cuz he’s a nice guy
the entire game isnt his fault
alot of it falls on garrett who called crap all day and hudson houck the o-line coach who couldnt adjust
and wade who didnt go for the onside and stacked the box twice in a row when it didnt work the first time
the entire team lost…we had opportunities to win but we didnt capitilize
o well maybe next year
t.o. had a good press conference he was calm..i think they all know that next year will probably be a better shot but its not over yet even though we dont deserve the playoffs if we cant beat good defenses at home
Superbowl or Bust?
Vent
Warning dont read on if you dont wanna hear my vent towards the team…
Damn coaches, bunch of sissies, I hope Jones hands Cowher a blank check tomorrow morning. Wade did ok at calling defenses, but as a head coach of the most prestigious football team, he failed miserably. Jerry Jones, I dont care what any one says, best owner in sports. Wants to win, spends to win, just has to hire the right people. Get Cowher, we have a great young defense, and an offense that can run the ball if dedicated to it. TO, I dont care if you stay or you go, just shut the hell up if you stay. Witten is the best TE in football, no question, hands down, thank you… MB and Choice, WOW, Felix, next year we need you, be ready to add another dimension. Ware, and most of the defense, Thank you, great job. Romo, stop trying to be a damn hero all the time. This team needs better discipline, better management of players, and more accountability for mistakes. I am too pissed off to write things logically now about how bad this was and how disappointed I am right now. Basically team needs new coach and philosophy.
