T-New, shutting down WR's for Dallas since 2003

yep...

go bears…make the eagles feel their window of opportunity slamming shut in their faces.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dallas_cowboys Pretty much required reading for any Dallas fan.

ehh who cares

if we win next week we will probably play minnesotta or chicago
i’d rather play the vikings cuz they’re in a dome, cuz solider field is crap and we all know what happened to the saints in 06
but at this point i could care less
we killed the bears last year in chicago so w/e….lets just win next week and win the week after that and etc.

Superbowl or Bust?

by MrMinority on Dec 22, 2008 8:05 PM CST reply actions

Minnestoa

On paper is the better team, but the weather really disrupts Romo, probably even more with a stiff back..

I want to play Minnesota if we get in, but I don’t want to be able to seat keys players..

by Wmillion on Dec 22, 2008 9:32 PM CST up reply actions

no,

dont talk about rather playing chicago or minnesota.

It will jinx us, we just need to win next week.

by jkyu2006 on Dec 22, 2008 8:06 PM CST reply actions

yea sorry

we win we’re win
we’ll just leave it at that

Superbowl or Bust?

by MrMinority on Dec 22, 2008 8:08 PM CST up reply actions

North

I don’t really have a feeling to root for either team here, but even though we have only a very indirect stake in it, it is still a classic NFC North rivalry, two teams still in playoff contention, with clouds of breath blowing across the frozen field, it it just a good old late-season football game to watch.

by scottmaui on Dec 22, 2008 8:17 PM CST reply actions

correction

duh, packers are out already

by scottmaui on Dec 22, 2008 8:42 PM CST up reply actions

Go Pack!

definitely don’t want to play the Bears in Chicago in January…it would probably be -15 degrees.

In Romo we Trust

by Terry on Dec 22, 2008 8:36 PM CST reply actions

true

rather play in the Metrodome than Soldier Field in January!

by scottmaui on Dec 22, 2008 8:43 PM CST up reply actions

i disagree

i much rather aply chicago…there a bad football team..they do not have the weapons minn has…plus minn defense is nothing to sneeze at…chicago would be my choice by farrrrrr…..go bears

by canty99 on Dec 22, 2008 8:46 PM CST up reply actions

ok i am not going to debate it with u

lets just win sun i am sure we can agree on that

by canty99 on Dec 22, 2008 9:06 PM CST up reply actions

agreed

Obviously I’ll be estastic just to get in no matter who we play….I just think the team plays better in dome conditions than frigid conditions.

In Romo we Trust

by Terry on Dec 22, 2008 9:10 PM CST up reply actions

I agree there

Romo better have sleeves and gloves on if we get in and draw the bears.. but if I had to choose give me the bears though.. They beat themselves a lot.

Neither is New England, but they have a guy who moves the chains and catches 100+ balls a year..

I hope your wrong

but I did not even watch football yesterday because I did not care.

The Cowboy injury report listed 20 players last week. That is the great equalizer

I just knew...

that would happen…..when was the last time we returned a punt or blocked a FG?

by ManTab on Dec 22, 2008 10:43 PM CST reply actions

well last year vs. Minnesota

Canty got the FG block and Watkins returned it for a TD to win the game.

Scandrick has caused at least one or two FGs to miss wide by being so close this year, which doesn’t get credited as a block but is just as good.

Well, we now have 2 outs to have Philly eliminated before our game starts...

If Tampa beats Oakland at 1PM OR Chicago beats Houston at 1PM then…

PHILLY CANT GET IN

by DieSlowKeyshawn on Dec 22, 2008 10:54 PM CST reply actions

And...

Don’t you think the Sheagles would rather have us eliminated this sunday? We lose to them and they will be ecstatic like they won a Superbowl. Eagle fans would rather have us sitting out in January then their team being in the playoffs.

~Texas Massacre 08~

by TheHeat on Dec 23, 2008 2:05 AM CST up reply actions

agreed

they still would love to take us out but having no hope at all gotta take something out of them

by canty99 on Dec 22, 2008 10:58 PM CST up reply actions

If for the past 2 weeks they were gearing up for this game in preparation to "keep dallas out"

it’d be one thing.

They thought they had a chance to go to the playoffs Sunday morning, their chances became slimmer tonight, but they will wake up next Sunday HOPING to go to the playoffs and their dreams will die just minutes before they kick off to start their game. They will not be into it 100% nor will their fans, GUARANTEED!

by DieSlowKeyshawn on Dec 22, 2008 10:59 PM CST up reply actions

agree with everything except for 1

there fans will be into it because knocking dallas out to them is the closest thing to winning a super bowl in philly, trust me i know……there hatred for dallas cannot be put into words….ti believe most philly fans know there done and this game is there super bowl

by canty99 on Dec 22, 2008 11:02 PM CST up reply actions

It's one thing to know you're the playing spoiler for weeks in advance

but when you become “spoiler” from “playoff contender” 5 minutes before kick off, it takes a toll, trust me.

by DieSlowKeyshawn on Dec 22, 2008 10:58 PM CST reply actions

LMAO

I think I heard a huge “Oh Crap” originating from MIN.
