Colombo Finally Signs
After some problems last week, it looks like Colombo finally signed his deal. He is a real mauler, and in my opinion has had the best season of anyone on our O line. He image of him roaring at the tiny Cato June from the Bucs game has been stuck in my mind. He brings a ferociousness to our team that we need. He has been a steal and one of Jerry's better gambles.

there's definitely no one behind him
it’s Flo Start and Colombo, and that’s it. Apparently Free and McQuistan are flops. While we’re at it, I can see a possible solution with regards to guard, by starting Holland and Davis, and making Kosier the swing backup guard. He’s also capable of backing up tackle in a pinch (or so I’ve heard a couple years ago). But he can’t do that if he is the starter at LG. That’s not to say he hasn’t done a good job, he’s done a fantastic job, but even he can be upgraded, Holland might fit our system better.
I can’t wait to find out what G/C and T we take in the draft, and I hope they are good ones, because Free, McQuistan, Procter, and Berger aren’t names to conjure with here in Dallas. Free might get another year, though.

Dare I say Colombo is our best lineman?
Good move, time to draft some depth though. Hopefully someone who will be ready to start at LT in a year or two.
Cris Carter....you're dead to me.

IMO...Columbo is for sure our best OLineman...great move by Jerry to lock him up..
He was by far the most important and best impending Free agent we would have had after this season…….Canty & Burnett hopefully can be signed fairly cheap, but i can see both those two testing the market……Tank and Hurd can go , as far as i’m concerned….Bowen would be nice to keep around too…
A true diehard Cowboys fan since 1975.

Sam Hurd
Doesn’t have a spot on this team, but I think he will excel for someone. I wouldn’t love for him to get a shot to play opposite Calvin Johnson.
I think it might be time to cut the Stanback experience short and grab a ST specialist.. Maybe a Desean Jackson type player (undersized, but has great speed and quickness or even a player like Clifton Smith..
Percy Harvin? Dez Bryant? Juaquin Iglesias?
