We are 0-8 in our final regular season game this century
I knew we were bad in December under both Big Bill and Little Bum but I did not know we have not yet won our last regular season game this century.
While there were a number of meaningless games in there, there were also 2 awful losses to Detroit.
Will this be the week....
2007 27-6 loss to skins in a meaningless game
2006 That awful 39-31 loss to Detroit at home - in a game the Lions would have been better off losing. (Detroit!)
2005 20-10 Loss to St Louis after the team found out just before the game they weren't going to the playoffs either way.
2004 28-24 Loss to NYG - with them scoring 21 pts in 4th quarter to take the win (we both finished 6-10)
2003 10-5 boys lose to 7-8 saints 13-7
2002 Led by "the Chad" we go down 20-14 at the Skins (the last of the 5-11 years)
2001 A sorry 5-10 Boys team losses to an even sorrier Detroit 1-14 team (Detroit!) (again!)
2000 Ouch. 0-31 @ Tennessee. Maybe this one set the tone.
1999 Hooray - a win - vs NYG at home 26-18. Jason Tucker was our leading receiver with 122 yards (who?)

what does 1999 and 2008 have in common?
The team needed to win their last game to make the playoffs.
And I can’t believe you don’t remember Jason Tucker..shame on you!

Tucker suffered a very serious neck injury this past season in the CFL in Canada

looks like a wet, warm day in Phillly for the game Sunday, highs near 60
hopefully the weather isn’t the last gift for cowboy fans on Sunday……

that will certainly help
I’m looking for the Cowboys to run a lot this game…just think this will be Garrett’s gameplan to take some pressure off of Romo.

makes sense
Shorter slants, curls, and outs this game.. More 2 and 3 or 4 to go to keep Philly of balance. It is time we make a defense adjust to us oppose to adjusting to the defense, that is what a good offense does..

that being said
I still think Romo will have a few opportunities to go deep in this game, he’ll have to take advantage of those when they present themselves Sunday.

We're Talking About Garrett, Right?
Who is nothing but a clone of Andy Reid. Unfortunately it will be Andy Reid calling running plays, while Garrett will be to busy with his head up his butt.

Just to contrast
I read somewhere that the Chargers have not lost a game in December in 3 or 4 years. Wow.

They will win the West
Denver had their chance and they blew it. Three-game division lead…pathetic.
San Diego somehow always seems to get hot at the right time, regardless of coach. Wish we could get some of that.

I'll be glad to see SD get in
They have the team to beat teams like the Colts, Titans and Steelers while Denver would have no chance.

right now it's forcasting 19mph winds
Which is better than thursday when it was predicting 23mph winds. I just wish the game would get here already! Because of the short work week and holiday everything seems to be prolonged. It doesnt feel like Sunday is still 2 days away.

2004
If we didnt blow that lead to the Giants, we probably wouldnt have gotten Ware.
The Chargers would have then been in front of us, and probably taken him over Merriman. But we would have Merriman, so not much of a drop off.

Parcells was never taking Merriman
He said he was a knucklehead, Ware always was the pick. I just thank Matt Millen and the detroit lions every year that they took Mike Williams just before our pick…..what a wasted pick that was……

I dont know if Parcells liked Merriman,
Im just saying Ware would have been gone.
