how can i keep getting worked up when all i see is a few players and coaches dragging being allowed to drag a team down? i’ll give them the second half…they are a second half team…but too many guys are acting like its already over

It is truly depressing how unprepared this team was for this game. And just think we get to enjoy another season of this uncreative, highly predictable, apathetic coaching staff. Wheeeeeeee!

FINISH
you know it’s ironic, after their mantra being “FINISH”, when it came to December, they failed to finish the PIT game and the BAL games that would have avoided this situation, and failed to finish the season.
Are they finished now? Or got some fight left?

But Owens, Williams, and Crayton? Not so much. No doubt that was a sidelines complaint-fest, and at least according to Troy, we can thank RWII for that interception. What I really don’t understand is why a coach isn’t sitting with Romo looking at film and coaching him. Coaching staff is worthless.

Funny, I don't control the Cowboys or have any effect on them, so I'm pretty
sure I’m not part of the problem. I think he’s good. I’d like to see any QB do the job with an O line that porous.
by Fernie67 on Dec 28, 2008 5:12 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
funny how exaggerations don't work on the internet.
he’s cute when he makes plays but he isn’t a leader, and with a coach like wade philips an offensive leader is necessary. manning takes charge of his offense. brady would take charge of his offense. at this point, matt ryan is a more mature quarterback than tony romo. maybe not as talented, but wasted talent is our team’s motto

You're right. They don't. Neither does comparing a QB with a lot less experience
to Manning and Brady. But it looked to me like Romo DID take control of the offense and make something happen. Oh, wait, it’s his fault MBIII fumbled, too. I forgot he runs, blocks, and plays D, too. That’s sarcasm, BTW.

It's not all romo, he's running for his life
by just4fun on Dec 28, 2008 5:09 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Romo’s a good guy, but at some point ge’s got to adjust his game and stop the turnovers. I don’t cuss, but WOW!!!

by AustonianAggie on Dec 28, 2008 5:09 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
well, the game is over essentially after that
but I’ll still watch and hope for some positives from individual performances. It will be interesting to see how ESPN covers this and what the players’ post-game interviews will be like.

the game has been over before it started homey.
Talk now.

romo might as well not have an oline, just a dline that isn't waiting for 2 mississippi before taking his noggin off

he also had his chance with the texans, and he blew it big time. at least romo gets meaningless wins, carr can't even do that.

somebody else who might have been a decent qb if he didn’t have to run for his life his entire career and has had his head taken off that many times

Romo should start calling his own plays
