It is truly depressing how unprepared this team was for this game. And just think we get to enjoy another season of this uncreative, highly predictable, apathetic coaching staff. Wheeeeeeee!

Wade

Wade is the problem, it’s the third time he’s done this to a good team, buffalo, denver, and now dallas

FINISH

you know it’s ironic, after their mantra being “FINISH”, when it came to December, they failed to finish the PIT game and the BAL games that would have avoided this situation, and failed to finish the season.

Are they finished now? Or got some fight left?

our O-line

the O-line is horrible, have been for two years. Romo is good at running for his life. they get credit for that. Flozell, must be replaced

But Owens, Williams, and Crayton? Not so much. No doubt that was a sidelines complaint-fest, and at least according to Troy, we can thank RWII for that interception. What I really don’t understand is why a coach isn’t sitting with Romo looking at film and coaching him. Coaching staff is worthless.

Funny, I don't control the Cowboys or have any effect on them, so I'm pretty

sure I’m not part of the problem. I think he’s good. I’d like to see any QB do the job with an O line that porous.

by Fernie67 on Dec 28, 2008 5:12 PM CST up reply actions   0 recs

funny how exaggerations don't work on the internet.

he’s cute when he makes plays but he isn’t a leader, and with a coach like wade philips an offensive leader is necessary. manning takes charge of his offense. brady would take charge of his offense. at this point, matt ryan is a more mature quarterback than tony romo. maybe not as talented, but wasted talent is our team’s motto

by Cavazos on Dec 28, 2008 5:14 PM CST up reply actions   0 recs

You're right. They don't. Neither does comparing a QB with a lot less experience

to Manning and Brady. But it looked to me like Romo DID take control of the offense and make something happen. Oh, wait, it’s his fault MBIII fumbled, too. I forgot he runs, blocks, and plays D, too. That’s sarcasm, BTW.

Real coaches would have had this team prepared.

They would have had answers for the online problems
They would have been working with Romo on his reckless approach at times
They would have had this team motivated
They would have had better schemes for opponents.

Wade has been the issue all year.

by staubachfan on Dec 28, 2008 5:26 PM CST reply actions   0 recs

Who?

Who is this coach that would solve all these problems, problems that have plagued this team since this organization since Bill Parcells got here. This team has problems that go a whole lot deeper than coaching. They have lots of money tied in players who are mostly mentally weak, or in one word I like to use a lot, stupid.

This game answers the question definitively as to why Parcells left this team, it’s uncoachable. It cannot be coached to play better or for that matter smarter. They lack self discipline and they make too much money to simply be cut or benched. 5 years of this is just getting ridiculous.

You can fire the coach, I don’t really care anymore, I just think that this collective group of players can’t do it and we’re stuck with them. If there is some godsend coach to change things I’m all for it, but I feel that coach does not exist.

leadership is woefully missing

Wait a second...

Romo ISN’T the problem but LACK of leadership is? Funny how Romo gets reprieve from being a locker room non-presence

I agree

Every play was a jailbreak on Romo today. His ball-security has been horrific, though.

Witten is a man

Playing injured he’s still playing in a game that is already settled…we need 22 Wittens.

A PUNT!! That sums up Wade and these coaches

They will now run up the middle when we are on offense. Gutless.

Joe Buck said it best

if they start going for it on 4th down now, the Eagles will score 60 easily.

I don't blame the Bucs

We had to win this game to get in. How much more motivation do they need during the week.

This game reminds me of when I play the computer in Madden on All Madden mode

still have 18 minutes left in this game

I can certainly say that I’m not all that disapointed today because I could see this coming all year. Couldn’t tackle a tackling dummy

TO is not the problem

it’s coaches, and I’d like to see more vocal leadership from nice guy Romo, where’s his anger at the Oline

I think Wade is gone for sure

but not sure how Jerry will handle Garrett. Stewart is of course gone too.
