So...Who Do We Root For In The Playoffs?
As dissappointed as I am in the loss, i kinda of felt it coming and am somewhat at peace with it. I'm almost done listening to all the taunting from redskins and ravens fans i live near and am now ready to just move on. I will always love the Cowboys and I will always love the game of football.
Since I love football so much i'm not just gonna stop watching so i'm wondering who everyone thinks will make the superbowl and win it.
I kind of like the Chargers, or the Panthers for all i care. I mean even if the Giants win it again I doubt i'd care that much. I wouldn't mind if the Titans win it either, anyone but the Eagles i guess.

I could careless really...however
I will be watching just because i am a huge football fan…If I root for anyone its the dolphins…I will be rooting for anyone who plays philly…I think philly beats minn but then lose to the giants…i see the giants plaing carolina in the nfc title game…….but it will be hard to watch knowing dallas with all that talent at least should have got in as a wild card..How jerry can keep jason garret around and wade is beyond me, i guess i will not be expecting much next year so the let down should not be as rough…

I'll
be rooting for Carolina in the NFC, Colts in the AFC.
But don’t care either way.
They've done studies, you know. 60% of the time it works, every time.

I'll be cheering for the Colts
I think Peyton Manning is better than Brady, and the more Super Bowls he wins the more other people will agree.
Plus the people saying Eli is as good as Peyton need their head examined.

i agree with your payton point...
but he does not have a defense behind him….I do not see that team making it if they do that be really really impressive

Nobody thought they had a defense the last time they won either
They gave up like 330 yards rushing to the Jags in week 16 or 17

Falcons/Chargers
Minnesota, Arizona, Giants, Colts and Eagles are all under the “teams I don’t want to see” category. Everyone else is fair game.
Mr. Minority, I feel for you with having to hear about it from Redskins/Ravens fans, but it doesn’t beat having to drive into Philly right after the game ended….that was rough.

I'll be cheering for either the Giants and Eagles to make the Superbowl

colts and falcons
although an all-Manning superbowl or all-rookie one would be interesting.

The Colts for Peyton and the Falcons for Matt Ryan.
Never the Giants nor the Eagles. It was already too difficult to listen to how great the Giants and Eli are this year. Not again in 09, please

Don't really care
I would want either Giants, Eagles or Colts to win it all. Trust me, I hate Giants and Eagles as we all do. But either those teams winning makes the NFC East look better. I think the Super Bowl match is going to be Giants vs Colts. Peyton vs Eli

I'll be hoping for Atlanta in the NFC
they have had a tough few years with all that went on with that organization, Their fans deserve a nice run in the playoffs after all they went through.
And I’ll be hoping for Miami in the AFC. I like to root for the underdog teams, especially teams that have been bad for a few years….

Miami in the AFC and Atlanta in the NFC...
I’ve always been a big fan of Chad Pennington and thought that he got a bum rap in NY. Good to see him redeeming himself.
I also like to see a rookie really tearing things up.

For the first time since I can remember, I don't think I'm gonna watch the playoffs
I just feel like I need a break from football. Any game I watched, all I’d really be able to think about is how, talent-wise, we’re probably better than either of the teams playing. I feel no attachment to any of the teams that are in, so all I’d think about is how its not the Cowboys. I’m gonna take this postseason off and hopefully be excited about football again by the time the Scouting Combine rolls around.

i feel the same way
but i can’t no matter how badly i want to
i love football and always will
it’ll be horrible i know, because i feel if we play at our best we can beat anyone
yet we never do
in the 2007 season it became natural to me to expect the cowboys to win
in the 2008 season i was nervous every game, every play
maybe next year will be better
i dont know but i will finish watching football till its finished and attempt to make the transition to basketball
Superbowl or Bust?

I know what you mean
I love football too, but I’ve never experienced a season quite like this one. I feel completely drained emotionally. Usually at the beginning of the year I have some realistic semblence of what the team will do, but I never imagined we could miss the playoffs this year (especially in the manner we did it), and to be honest its left me a little bitter. I’ll always bleed silver and blue and will probably be back to optomist before the Draft, but I really don’t know that I can handle football right now ( I haven’t even watched a full Bowl game yet this year)

ANYBODY BUT THE EAGLES
I’ll be rooting against them with all I’ve got.

I cheer for the Cowboys
Screw the rest of them. I don’t care who wins, I won’t watch the play-offs. Next up NASCAR season starts in February, and that should keep me going til training camp.

Rooting for the Colts
If this is indeed Tony Dungy’s last hurrah, I want him to go out a winner.
Having said that, I’m not watching anymore football. Seems like the whole world wants to tee off on us (WHOO HOO COWBOYS SUCK WATCH ME DO MY HAPPY DANCE!), and I’m just not up for it this year. Screw this season and everyone that’s ruined it.

I don't really root for anyone
I just root AGAINST these teams (in this order):
Giants
Eagles
Steelers
p.s. – because I’m snakebit I’m fully expecting that the Super Bowl will be “Giants vs. Steelers” or “Eagles vs. Steelers”……:::::::>>>>>see 2007 Super Bowl (Giants vs. Patriots)
