CHFF Makes a Case For Tony Romo For MVP
http://www.coldhardfootballfacts.com/Articles/11_2562_A_Romosexual_comes_out_of_the_closet.html
Pretty interesting argument posted here by one of the most legit football sites on the net, Cold Hard Football Facts. If Dallas wins out and Tony keeps up his current pace, while the rest of the MVP candidates either slow down or fall out(Brees, Warner, Portis, Peterson, Favre?), I cannot see how anyone but Tony could be considered the MVP of the league. Without him, this team is nothing. The offense can't do anything, and that forces the defense to be on the field entirely too long.

the thing that kills me right now is
Eli Manning is being touted by some for the award. yes the Giants are 11-1, but he throws for like 200 yards a game, he isn;t even the MVP of that team, let alone the NFL.
best team in the NFL
9 times out of 10 the QB will get love..
"If you see me up in the mountains with a lion, I ain't lyin
don't help me, help the mountain lion"
Seriously though, how often does the QB of the best team win the MVP?
So does that mean that if the Giants lose a few down the stretch Kerry Collins will be MVP?
In the past 10 years, only twice has a QB on the team with the best record in the NFL won MVP.
Tom Brady 2007
Kurt Warner 2001
Not Happening
There are too many other well-deserving candidates.
Now, if Romo leads Dallas on a 3-1 stretch through December and finishes with big numbers against these 4 stingy defenses, I might change my tune.
"Well, we didn't block real good but we made up for it by not tackling."
- John McKay, the first coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
if that happens...
there wouldn’t be more deserving candidates and as it stands now, Romo’s numbers are just as good, if not better than those other candidates you speak of.
In Romo we Trust
Just FYI
I wrote this for CHFF, so the article is a little biased toward Romo and the Cowboys.
