Offensive Line
What is wrong with the Cowboys' offensive line? The Cowboys seem to have a breakdown of this type and then one of that type and then one of yet another type by one player and then by another player and then by yet another. What is going on? Analysts have written a lot about individual linemen, penalties, injuries, etc. But why does the line as a whole fail to work work better? Other teams with worse players and/or more injuries seem able to function, but the Cowboys' OL seems to be incapable of working as a unit. Is this a coaching failure? Hudson Houck is supposedly an excellent OL coach. Is there a lack of unity among the linemen, a division? What is wrong?
It seems to me that systemmatic change is needed not just piecemeal changes. I'd really like to have Grizz and/or Vela make a tape review to try to uncover any common thread that may underlie this continued chaos.

Man, I've been working three days on this piece
It’s going to take another day or two to sort through the penalty stats, but it’s coming.
And it ain’t pretty.
I am exicted
I really want some valid info, I might have to call Siruis nfL Radio with the numbers..
"Protect the Romo, Save the Cowboys!!"
Is it truly a case of the....
Domino effect that Proctor causes Rafael?

Yes and no
I think it’s worse than that.
Everybody, the organization and the fans, have a higher impression of the starting five than they deserve.

Then Rafael...
What would be the biggest point of the shake-up that you would point out? Or would you rather replace everyone?

To my untrained eye
It looks like just about every starter (not sure about Kosier) is inconsistent. Columbo stunk against the Eagles, everyone else has a few shockers sprinkled in throughout the season. Therefore, in almost any game, someone up front didn’t show up and it drags the performance of the whole unit down.
The lack of depth on the line exposes what I think is the biggest problem with Dallas – not developing starters from reasonably high draft picks. When you look at the first day picks in 2006 and 2007, the total production is very low, and nobody is pushing for a starting spot. Does Jason Hatcher look any better than he did as a rookie? Carpenter is an enigma at best, and even Spencer is no sure thing.
No starter is nervous about losing their job to anyone who is currently on the roster, even Anthony Henry. The team has a tenure system in place.
