Dallas vs Pittsburgh week 14 Madden 09 simulation
A battle of heavyweights turns into a knockout, but it's the fighter left standing that might surprise football fans. That's right, the Dallas Cowboys score 14 in the second and 14 in the fourth to beat one of the best teams in football 35-19.
The win helps improve the Wild Card hopes for Dallas fans as the team improves to 9-4 thanks to an absolute monster game by Tony Romo. Romo completed 29/33 passes for 323 yards and five touchdowns in what could prove to be a defining moment in the quarterback's career.
Terrell Owens found himself on the receiving end of many of those bombs, grabbing eight passes for 110 yards and two touchdowns in the win.

If Romo puts up those kind of numbers
he’s winning the MVP, no question about it and the Cowboys won’t lose another game this season.
That being said, I don’t think those simulations take into consideration the game being played at 15 degrees, 22 mph wind and snow.
Damn, I’m going to freeze my ass off.

Who Cares
Gotta love ESPN. They quote WP yesterday as saying that Barber is looking “more doubtful” and then rattles of a simulation where he hangs 100+ on the #1 run D in the NFL. Cute.

Yeh....its a very accurate prediction.
I would be more impressed with 5 td throws than a 100 yard game.

Maybe, the forecast is looking better
It is only showing AM showers, so it will probably be clear skies by 4 pm, with temp in the low 20’s.
Romo is used to playing in cold weather so I’m not too concerned, just as long as there is no precipitation.

Romo may be.....
how about the rest of the team?

Roy played in the NFC North for all those years
and Barber played in Minnesota, that’s if he plays this game

we are the NFC EAST, not the NFC south..
We play the Giants, Philly, and Washington outside in the cold in Nov. and Dec., the only reason this is a factor is Hienz field. If they turf is fine, Dallas will be fine..
This is over blown and there will be money to be made if get your bet in..

But he did play Big Ten football,
and as you know as well as I do, central PA weather is usually not too forgiving in Big Ten football season. There have been some nasty weather games at Beaver Stadium, that’s for sure.

And trust me
Kinnick Stadium sucks in the winter.

What kind of fantasy world...
is Madden, or anyone who buys into this “simulation” living in? It’s borderline comical.

It's a video game
Ever played it?

I pulled out the Madden game today to see how I'd fear leading our Cowboys against the vaunted Pitts D
I won 17-3 , holding Pitts to 12 yards rushing, and Rothesburger to a 17.1 passing rating with 3 picks…
Hopefully they’ll be talking about OUR Defense after this weekend.
A true diehard Cowboys fan since 1975.
"If you don’t take him off the field as a coach, he will just about die out there," Jerry Jones said. "That impacted my decision. It’s a Michael Irvin-type work ethic. That’s what we are talking about with Felix Jones."

Man...
If Romo puts up 5 TDs, imagine how many NFL “experts” will be on his jock.

He's done it before
And I wouldn’t bet against it happening sunday.
By the way…the simulator is eerily close quite a few times that i’ve kept up with it!!!!
Please do keep posting them!!!

35 points?
Time to come back to reality. 3 points will be more likely.

good luck with that prediction
given all else equal, in a good offense versus good defense game, the good offense has a slight advantage if for no other reason than because they know where they are going and the defense doesn’t (especially on a slick field). I expect Dallas to score in the 17-24 range. More or less and I’ll be surprised. Can your offense keep up with that?

3?
Do you know who you’re talkin about? Ya’lls defense is good, but you dont know what you’re up against. I’m so tired of hearin about this defense, and how we’re gonna wilt in the cold weather.
I cant wait until tommorrow, they’re gonna have to find somethin else to hate on us about next week.
I cant wait.

Please...
you very well might win this game, but the Steelers WILL NOT hold the most explosive offense in the league under 10 points. Not Happening. Enjoy your kool aid.
I have noticed a new resurgence in Cowboy hating in 2007, which can only mean one thing- We're back.

Romo
Has thrown for 3 TD’s in 6 out of his last 8 starts…..
Nothing pittsburgh can do to stop it
