What "The Experts" Think...

ESPN analysts are unanimous in their conclusion that we're going to lose in Pittsburgh.  That's right, every single one picked against us.  What does that actually mean?  Well, if you count the fact that:

  • SETH WICKERSHAM picked DETROIT to beat MINNESOTA and
  • ERIC ALLEN picked Cleveland over Tennessee..

then you get that there's a whole lot of love for Pittsburgh and none for our 'Boys.  Wonder if Ed Werder would have picked us?

Good ol' Werder

I didn’t see a prediction, but ESPN has an article by Werder about how Wade Phillips is an idiot for giving the vets a day of rest, including Flo, Columbo, and Barber. That’s right, he slammed Phillips for resting a hurt Barber…what a freaking idiot…

he also let some of them rest the week after the bye

and was criticized for it by the same chorus of naysayers.

then they came out and put a whippin on the Skins.

of course they were all quick to credit Wade for such smart player management…. not…

Did we expect anything different? Werder is ignoring that Tomlin gave a couple of his 30 something

players time off as well. Remember win or lose WP will give the same guys time off to rest up before the gints game, because they will have just been in a very physically demanding game with PItt.

Awesome, I am glad

that they picked against us, I am superstitious and believe that when it comes to dallas, a unanimous pick for the boys to win is usually a bad sign, but of course I have no facts to back this up its just my gut feeling.

Repost

I just said this on another post but I also noticed no one picking us, espn, inside the NFL, Emmitt, ect… Personally I love it. This team doesnt seem to do as well when everyone is praising us. Our guys seem to buy into the hype. Keep bashing us, keep writing us off and we will just keep winning.

I feel the same way. When everone is picking us we go into the tank. I love the underdog mentality.

Detroit over Minnestoa

Wouldn’t be a huge upset if the Williams brothers can’t go. They make that D tick..

Lions were up 17 on a better team, when they played TB.

Now Cleveland over Tenn with Ken Dorsey starting is hilarious..

He stinks

How the heck is CLE going to beat anyone without a QB, let alone TEN and their defense? That is the dumbest prediction of the year.

We've done very well when picked to lose

The Monday Countdown crew all picked us to lose to Green Bay, to Tampa Bay, and maybe even at Washington.

I think we do better when we’re not given a chance.

Schlereth and Mortensen picked the Boys

and they happen to have the best records among the “experts” so I think we can take comfort in the fact that they were the only ones to pick the boys.

Oh, and on the NFL network Deion is catching grief for getting back on the Cowboys bandwagon. I have also noticed a lot more people on ESPN and the NFL Network admitting that they picked the Cowboys for the Superbowl before the season began. When we win this week, the hype will be large for the next game.

Romo

will shat his pants when the blitz comes. Cowboys don`t have the testosterone for a game like this.
