There could be a few things wrong here.

1. The team doesn’t study enough during the week to know their assignments. They wilt when the pressure is on.

2. The offensive scheme is too complicated for the players to confidently execute.

3. Jason Garrett refuses to moves guys across the formation when the pressure is on. Run a streak, turn around, expect the ball. It doesn’t work.

4. Cory Proctor sucks. He made sure Romo had guys in his face the entire 4th quarter.

I’m beside myself.

they need to realize that what they’re doing is not acceptable, and if they even SNIFF the possibility of everyone around them failing to the point that they might get a wc spot, then all hope is lost.

with that being said, i liked the defense today because they got the job done until the fourth. then for some reason we called stupid zones when pressure had been getting it done all day long.

you wanna go conservative with the weapons we have? you wanna stick with the intermediate bs that you’ve been throwing out there against teams that aren’t wise to it, fine. you bring that to pittsburgh, and you get that result.

Now, at the time that may have been funny. However, RW11 was wide open and Romo had time to get the ball to him. I think he could have tossed it to him right handed. I don't think so

Romo can be absolutely amazing, but he can have days like this when he just kills you.

Brady and Ben had immediate success, but Manning took nearly ten years to shed the “Choker” label. It clearly can be done, and Romo will get better as he continues to be exposed to these high pressure situations. The Kitna comparison is a joke, I hope. They are about as similar statistically and athletically as a hippo and a beaver.

I'm officially off the Romo bandwagon

The defense played great today, except for a few plays. Tashard Choice was awesome. Special Teams coverage was awful as usual.

Tony Romo sucks! He throws way too many interceptions to become a great QB. He’s too much like Favre for my tastes. It’s time to draft his replacement, because he’ll keep making bonehead interceptions.

It is December, so it’s time for this team to fold as usual. I would be surprised if they make the playoffs. It’s over.

The playcalling

Was really conservative at the end. It was the classic example of playing to lose. You could smell the INT coming at the end, and apparently, so could the Steelers.

If Jason turned his head

On the last play, he had a first down and maybe 20 more yards

witten, romo, and garrett are to blame for this loss. whether or not the fan base abides to that, is another thing.

injuries

definitely a big story. people were coming otu left and right.

and i think witten’s injury really affected his play

look to me..

like he just swapped the side choice was going to run to, since they were blitzing from the left

Wade should be calling his players out, not making excuses for them!!!!

They are highly paid professionals, but play like a bunch of ametures. Very disappionting!!!

man

the first time i’m saying this but romo lost us that one
and we had every chance to end the game when we were up 10 and the d was stopping drive after drive
we just imploded at the end
the only pro’s we can take out of it are that choice was a monster and had more yards than any other rb thats played pitt, and it was in there field
also technically we had over 300 yards of total offense..but still we lost
we pretty much HAVE to win out now..so it’ll be tough..i saw Crayton open a couple times but romo was forcing throws..idk there’s nothing left to do but move on
