he doesn't do anything on the field
might as well get off the field, give someone else a chance. I’m sick of him and his missed backfield tackles!

they had control of the game. Pitt couldnt move the ball. We gave them turnovers and suddenly decided we were just going to run Choice into Casey Hampton for most of the rest of the game.
BS
When they needed to step up in the 4th quarter, they gave up the kick return, big chunks of passing yardage and got no pressure on Ben. To say nothing of the ineptitude of the offense when it counted most.

When you play your a$$ off and lose
I think that may tear this team apart? I hope not but I am sure the players feel worse than us. I hope the fingers don’t start to point.
deffense broke down at the end
but they played great…..the offense decided not to show up at all……they didnt practice, there you have it……another heartbreaking loss…..
Well they were on the field too much
The game should have been over after the goal line stand, but our O couldnt give them any break. The last 7 points were on Romo too.
Romo tends to suck in critical games
Not sure why that is…
"Well, we didn't block real good but we made up for it by not tackling."
- John McKay, the first coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Is it about time someone goes?????????????
Up 13-3 in the 3rd qtr. we know the steelers have the wind at their back in the 4th qtr.
And we go conservative? Not once but twice!!!
we barely lose and we have 5 TURNOVERS.
First and goal up 10-3 and we never throw the ball in the air for Roy williams to make a catch. why did we get him???
I hope we don’t make the playoffs this is too painful!!!!!!!
There could be a few things wrong here.
1. The team doesn’t study enough during the week to know their assignments. They wilt when the pressure is on.
2. The offensive scheme is too complicated for the players to confidently execute.
3. Jason Garrett refuses to moves guys across the formation when the pressure is on. Run a streak, turn around, expect the ball. It doesn’t work.
4. Cory Proctor sucks. He made sure Romo had guys in his face the entire 4th quarter.
I’m beside myself.
+100 on Proctor...what a waste of 300 pounds

Thank You Romo for giving Skip bayless ammo

Time to re-group and win out
"If you see me up in the mountains with a lion, I ain't lyin
don't help me, help the mountain lion"
Actually, it's live or die by Romo
Romo could have won the game.. IMO he lost the game with too many turnovers. May be the last one was on Witten, but Witten wasn’t open. May be Romo should room with someone else for a while.
I dont think Romo is ready to shoulder his team...someone else has to do it.

No, missed good play calling in the 4th qtr and bad execution all around down the stretch.
Aikman and Bradshaw?
Please. They are in the same league as Trent Dilfer and Jim McMahon as QBs who were taken to the SB by great Defenses and great Running Games.

Yeah, the season is over
The defense is finally playing well except for a few plays in the secondary.
The offense just isn’t getting it done. TC was great though.
Gotta be happy with Choice!!!

choice was great...romo is the reason we lost
we have the 6 seed now…season not over lol
I was a supporter of Garrett
but now I am done.
He’s a loser.

couple of play calls i didn't like
but not his fault. He can’t control Romo sailing the football.

We are still in it..
Our ST’s made zero plays.. Punt return and kick return

The Playoffs aren't really a big deal
Romo will just blow it in the 1st round by turning it over 3 times
at this point, i genuinely don't want the cowboys to make the playoffs or even come close.
they need to realize that what they’re doing is not acceptable, and if they even SNIFF the possibility of everyone around them failing to the point that they might get a wc spot, then all hope is lost.
with that being said, i liked the defense today because they got the job done until the fourth. then for some reason we called stupid zones when pressure had been getting it done all day long.
you wanna go conservative with the weapons we have? you wanna stick with the intermediate bs that you’ve been throwing out there against teams that aren’t wise to it, fine. you bring that to pittsburgh, and you get that result.
i’m done with this season.

Not that it was all Romo's fault but just for kicks
What would Terry say to absolve our QB?

The left handed pass
Now, at the time that may have been funny. However, RW11 was wide open and Romo had time to get the ball to him. I think he could have tossed it to him right handed. That was a big play that I thought may come back to haunt us and it did. I like Tony and think he has potential but he killed us today. 3 picks and a fumble. I hope we do not miss the playoffs due to this game. That would very hard to accept since we had the game in our hands.
I was thinking the same thing, Eightball
Yes, he did have time to throw that right-handed. That was a huge play that wasn’t!
people are saying we are the 6th see
but if washington wins, they pass us right?

Some guys have that crunch time edge
Guys like Brady, Manning and Ben have it.
Romo just doesn’t have it…and I doubt he ever will.
Romo is Jon Kitna.

I don't think so
Romo can be absolutely amazing, but he can have days like this when he just kills you.
Brady and Ben had immediate success, but Manning took nearly ten years to shed the “Choker” label. It clearly can be done, and Romo will get better as he continues to be exposed to these high pressure situations. The Kitna comparison is a joke, I hope. They are about as similar statistically and athletically as a hippo and a beaver.
If Wade's calling the defense these days
He’s been fantastic. There’s no way this loss gets hung on Wade. The team was prepared and the defense played better than Pittsburgh’s. The math is not tough on this one: 5 turnovers usually equals a loss.
I'm officially off the Romo bandwagon
The defense played great today, except for a few plays. Tashard Choice was awesome. Special Teams coverage was awful as usual.
Tony Romo sucks! He throws way too many interceptions to become a great QB. He’s too much like Favre for my tastes. It’s time to draft his replacement, because he’ll keep making bonehead interceptions.
It is December, so it’s time for this team to fold as usual. I would be surprised if they make the playoffs. It’s over.
Its the first time in his carrer hes faced the #1 D...
Pitt has shut down every qb theyve faced this year. Romo is still on track to have the hoghest rating in history.

Wade - presser
He is to meek. I liked Big Bill. He told it how it was. He was not afraid to call people out.

you're kidding
i can’t remember many times i was happier than than the day parcells left. he was WAY past his expiration date.
the prevent defense in the 4th quarter is taking a lot of heat on the postgame show right now
And possibly… rightfully so.
A lot of questions about why they decided to stop being aggressive on defense with 7 minutes left to play.
Ironic is....
All the talk was about bing a tough team and they come out and fold like a cheap lawn chair. This id a menaly and physically soft team.
I would be changed and on the plane already if I was dallas

if you live by Romo, you'll die by him sometimes too...
if we win, Romo is hero. We lost, so he’s a goat. Can’t put it on the ground four times Romo. You just can’t. And you definitely can’t throw that last pick. We should at least be in overtime. Choice played well tho and so did our D. So that’s good. But I’m tired of defending Romo after games like this. I always do. But it’s getting sickening.
"They need security in the world, Craig!"
witten
hard not to put a lot of blame on him
""If they'd have told me you can make the team but you've got to shine the shoes, I'd have been there shining shoes." -Bradley
the int that was returned for a TD
looked to me as a overthrow by Romo. He was high all day and in my opinion that is what happened there again. I could be wrong though.
The playcalling
Was really conservative at the end. It was the classic example of playing to lose. You could smell the INT coming at the end, and apparently, so could the Steelers.
If Jason turned his head
On the last play, he had a first down and maybe 20 more yards
Cowboys fan since 1978.. I was 3 years old
injuries
definitely a big story. people were coming otu left and right.
and i think witten’s injury really affected his play
""If they'd have told me you can make the team but you've got to shine the shoes, I'd have been there shining shoes." -Bradley
i didn't like that call
probably the one play i didn’t like at all.
i also am not positive that JG called that. looked like romo audibled at the line

look to me..
like he just swapped the side choice was going to run to, since they were blitzing from the left

look it sucks
i live in steeler country but we had what 5 turnovers romo was off his game we had a million key injuries(hollard) and we still were 2mins away from beating one of the best teams in the league in there stadium that says alot!!!!!
What the French?! Toast!
sorta reminiscent of the buffalo game last year
except for the last minute heroics

watching coaches like Tomlin, Zorn, Singletary, etc. makes me sick to my stomach when I have to listen to Wade.
same here
i have said the same many times, he doesnt inspire theplayers
Wade should be calling his players out, not making excuses for them!!!!
They are highly paid professionals, but play like a bunch of ametures. Very disappionting!!!
man
the first time i’m saying this but romo lost us that one
and we had every chance to end the game when we were up 10 and the d was stopping drive after drive
we just imploded at the end
the only pro’s we can take out of it are that choice was a monster and had more yards than any other rb thats played pitt, and it was in there field
also technically we had over 300 yards of total offense..but still we lost
we pretty much HAVE to win out now..so it’ll be tough..i saw Crayton open a couple times but romo was forcing throws..idk there’s nothing left to do but move on
