Am I missing something??

It's the eternal optimist again-- and I'm already over the loss to the Steelers. Sure we shouldve won, we lost in horrible fashion, blah blah frickin blah. OK, we're not the only team that's lost a game they shouldve won. Last I checked we still controlled our own destiny.

But the thing I'm not understanding... the thought process I just don't get...

Why is it sooooooooo inconceivable for the Giants to lose two games in a row? We all know  the media is full of Cowboy haters, incomplete thinkers and faux analyzers who really don't know a thing about picking football winners. But in the last 24 hours, I've read at least 6 national scribes write how it is dam near impossible for the Giants to lose two games in a row. Why?

BS. We're winning Sunday and we're going to the playoffs people. Haters get over yourselves.

At least we'll know this weekend who this team really is

We have some injuries at key positions, but whatever. Romo is back now, and almost everybody else can be replaced. Look at how well Choice did in place of Barber, how well Scandrick has played, etc.

Enough excuses. Win or go home.

According To The DMN

here is the list they have, althought he official injury report isn’t released until Wednesday I believe.

The older I get, the better I was.

B/c

the truth shall set you free! Giants are the better team and as desperate as your team may be, we will match that intensity. Ending your season in Dallas again would be very high on every Giant’s TO DO list.

The only truth is that the gints believe that beating the boys is high on their list

that still does not mean it will happen, I am just as excited for this game as I was for last sunday’s game. I do not feel that one team has a clear advantage over the other, they both are playing for something and the team that wants it more will win.

Ignore the Mainstream Media, EMBRACE THE HATE!!!!

It should be a good game

The big game for the Giants though may be the next week against the panthers for the number one seed in the conference. I suspect Jacobs wont play this week againnst us, wanting him healthy for the panthers the next week, a game that should be for the number one seed in the conference and home field advantage throughout the playoffs in the NFC.

I wouldn't bet money on the cowboys

Obviously I hope they win but you have to think about their performance this season. How can you be sure which team and which Romo will show up sunday? If the D plays like last sunday and Romo is on, the cowboys could easily win. If Romo is channeling his inner Favre and Redball is getting cutesy, the boys could get blown out.

If I am on ESPN and paid to make picks, the Giants are the safe bet this week so I don’t really get why you are so confused.

I think the cowboys win this week

Romo had a horrible game, usually after a horrible game, a quarterback plays a great game. I expect he’ll play a good game this week againts tthe giants and I dont think he’ll be throwing it up for grabs like he was last week. I’m sure the coaches will be instilling into him this week, protect the ball, make better decisions, live to play another play….

One team, got dominated at home- kickoff to final gun-- and now goes on the road

the other team, played on the road in worse conditions, dominated for the majority of the game… and now comes home.

and it’s completely out of the question for the 2nd team to win that division game? really?

no.

it's not about who ends up winning...

it’s the complete disregard for the cowboys having a chance.

I get what you are saying

but if you look at both teams from the standpoint of the entire season, the Giants are the safe bet. Also, surely you have figured out by now that the MSM loves to hate the cowboys and said the same thing last week, that they had “no chance” against the steelers.

If they want to stop hearing that crap, win the next three and a playoff game or two. All Romo keeps doing is providing fuel for his haters.

Yea

well after blowing a 10 pt lead w/ under 8 to play, can you blame anyone for thinking you guys will lose? Really.

yea

Your right. I was miserable making the playoffs the 2 previous seasons prior to last year. Sooooo miserable. As for TC, I never wanted him fired. I believed our team was as good as Eli would make us, and for quite some time it was avg to below avg. Until, Eli put it all togeather in one helluva post season run and a breakout 2008.
