D-Mac is da Mack Daddy
We all know that Darren McFadden's gonna be one rich NFL player after the April '08 Draft. I know there are many on this site that don't like #5, but as for me, I enjoy watching his many highlight reels.
In just three seasons at the University of Arkansas, the Heisman Trophy finalist racked up monster stats and tore up the SEC and most Razorback opponents throughout the nation. I mean, how many times did he score on college football playing fields?
Segue alert in 3, 2, 1 seconds...
Well, D-Mac is a versatile playa-playa with multiple skills and those talents spill over into another playing field, where to multiple women, he's da Mack Daddy... or shall we just say "Daddy of their children," to be truthfully honest.
Put it this way, there's gonna be some rich women whose children will be set for life once that signing bonus gets in McFadden's hands.
Consider this a pseudo TMZ type of diary and click on the link below to read more about "the man's" productivity - LOL!!!

Aside from some of the on the field weaknesses
already mentioned by Mayock, I think teams are going to be really hesistant to draft D Mac early with some of this character issues.
I read on the DMN Blog that he did not interview well at all for teams yesterday with some teams not liking his overall attitude. Obviously, having multiple kids to multiple women shows a very cavilar and irresponsible disposition.
I know people here think I'm crazy, but if he would fall out of the top 10 on April 26, it wouldn't surprise me at all.
not crazy
Obviously, having multiple kids to multiple women shows a very cavilar and irresponsible disposition.
That was so well said that it deserves to be highlighted in block quotes.
I don't think you're crazy, I think you're dead on. With Goodell's crusade to clean-up the image of the NFL, these guys with well-earned bad public images will get zero leeway when they have the very likely run in with the law.
Clearly D-Mac is an amazing talent. But I don't like the odds of team success associated with him being picked high for a variety of reasons that I have previously stated ad nauseum.

More DMAC and Hall Rumors
RUMOR: Possible mega trade with ATL
On NFL Network they said Cowboys maybe thinking about a major deal with ATL.Trade Rumor One
Cowboys get:
DeAngelo Hall
#3 pick (Basically means McFadden)
2 second round picks (6th and 17th I believe)ATL gets:
Marion Barber
Anthony Henry
Akin Ayodele
Our two first round picks (22nd and 28th)
---------------Here is the other rumor trade with ATL from the other thread on PSD (Not from NFL network)
Trade Rumor Two
Cowboys get:
DeAngelo Hall
#3 Pick (Basically means McFadden)ATL gets:

Thumbs down on those
I'm not seeing a bug upgrade on rumor one, and I don't like giving up all of those picks in rumor two. I'd rather keep what we have than do either of those.
yeah I'm not thrilled

Although now that I look at #1 again...
The 2nd round picks are a decent consolation prize. We could move back up in the late 1st and take a OT, CB, or stay in the 2nd and get a CB, OT, and WR. It could work. I really don't want to swap MB3 for D-Mac though. It'd be one thing if we had a reliable veteran to pair with D-Mac; we wouldn't in that case. Throwing Romo out there with a first-time starter at LT and a RB that can't pass protect is the stuff of nightmares.
I don't like either of those
as much as I'd like to pick up deangelo hall,I don't want to lose a pro-bowl RB for a RB with on field and off field issues.
plus deal #2 has us losing Too many picks.
Thanks but i'll pass
it's funny
no one can produce any factual evidence of these so called 'off field issues'

Soon, two moms will reveal two off field issues
LOL!!!
yes, a diffrent field of dreams
Did you watch
the combine yesterday?
Rod woodson interviewed D-Mac and asked him about his character issues.
D-mac did not deny them!
He said he had made some bad decisions in the past and that he
"won't do that no more"
no one can produce any factual evidence of these so called 'off field issues'
Plus the fact that he admitted to fathering two children with two different women while interviewing with the Raiders over the weekend.
yeah and hearing DMac was like hearing PMac
"I've learned my lesson, I won't be bad anymore".
Yeah, right, they really expect teams to believe that bunk.
HaHa!

I'm glad they're just rumors
I expect to see more ridiculous rumors in the next 2 months.
Man, Rumor #1 would be awesome
I'd take rumor #1 in a heartbeat! Hall would be a huge upgrade over Henry at a very critical position, not to mention getting way younger. Carpenter/Burnett/Thomas would be at least a draw over Ayodele, and likely an upgrade.
One of the second round picks could be used on a running back, with the position augmented by a free agent. Given our great offensive line and passing game, running back production would likely drop off only marginally, if at all.
And then the Cowboys could get a stud LT or a stud defensive lineman with the third overall pick and a corner or wr with the other second round pick. Maybe that Long guy could anchor our offensive line for the next decade.
I can't see Atlanta being so foolish as to make that trade. But I guess if they really want out of that three slot and they also want to part ways with Hall, it might make sense to package the two together.

I'm now on board with Mcfadden
I'll be pulling for the kid on draft day, oops, poor choice of words there, that "act" is maybe what he should of been up to instead of starting to form is own football team, hopefully Denver will draft him, because if there is anyone that could be a role model to Mcfadden, or a record to strive for, Travis Henry is your man to model after, he's well on his way to forming his own team, I'm sure travis Henry can give him some excellent pointers.
Yeah, and Larry "Grand Ma-Ma" Johnson, too...
Players like that literally have to
"feed their growing families."
Hee, Hee... stop it guys, you're killin' me!!!
LOL!!!

I know that's right... freakin' hilarious, Deke!!!
Speaking of "pulling," remember this classic...

HaHa!
You said POINTERS...LOL
He might not want those HAHAHA!
Nice Beavis & Butthead reference, TrueBlue!!!
i hope DMAC gets drafted
real early so jerry jones wont be tempted. If he falls pass the 10th pick ill be biting my nails jerry doesnt do something dumb
If he goes past 10..I assure you Jerry will jump.
baggage or not...the dude is a stud...If he fell to #7 New England. I'd offer up our first, Ayodele, and a 4th..

That'd be a win-win trade...
FOR PATS:
Because NE likes LATE first rounders
NE is LB needy right now
NE likes additional draft picks
FOR COWBOYS:
Dal gets D-Mac
Dal still gets to keep one of their first rounders
Not sure if this equals out according to the "chart," however...
that chart is bogus...and league is tweekin' it..
I have heard somewhere it no longer equates to current contract blow outs...there is something going on to adjust it to current league parameters....
that is why i'd never jump up into the "top three" and select a player....cuz it's rediculous.. There is a major drop in chart numbers...from picking 1-3 to 7....
only if Dmac slips...would i do it..
Even If we did trade up to get Atlanta's #3, and DeAngelo Hall, as reported...
I still wouldn'take DMac...I would trade back DOWN with it..to KC at #5 ( who I am sure are dying to get up in the draft to draft Jake Long OT)...then drop DOWN again...between 6-14 and get Jonathan Stewart, and pick up many many picks that would offset the picks we gave up in the first place.
So...that being said...
I would give up both our #1's, our 4th rounder, Akin Ayodele, and Anthony Henry for DeAngelo Hall and the #3 pick, and both their #2nd rounders in this years draft.

I do agree with that statement BOYZ!

Ha! Shoot, w/all that upcoming jack, he could...
buy a warehouse!!!
LOL!!!
As a fan of D-Mac...
all I can do is shudder when I read stuff like that. It would be dishonest to attempt to defend him. He's got all the talent in the world, but he's not being smart about anything he does. Blah.
