Speedy Vet to Replace Terry Glenn?
Here's a question. Would you all rather stand pat and not add to the current receiving corps. Or if Terry Glenn truly cannot play anymore due to his injured knee, would you rather draft a receiver and add a speedy NFL vet?
If you're answer is the latter, I'd say we draft a WR like Eddie Royal (Va Tech) in round 3 -- or another receiver like Devin Thomas (Michigan State) -- and pick up a deep threat wideout who made a game-winning catch in the Super Bowl.
His name -- Isaac Bruce.
And believe it or not, the St. Louis Rams may cut him due to cap reasons.
Decisions are looming on wide receiver Isaac Bruce and restricted free agents Trevor Johnson (defensive end) and Jerome Carter (safety). Bruce is due a $2 million roster bonus Friday. According to league sources, the Rams have discussed both a pay cut for Bruce or releasing him altogether. If the Rams don't make one-year tender offers to Carter and Johnson, they become unrestricted free agents Friday.
Honestly, I feel that if old Ike is indeed cut, the San Francisco 49ers would snatch him up in a heartbeat, due to Mike Martz recently being hired to turn around their anemic offense from last season.

No on Bruce
he's 35 and has clearly lost a step, signing him would be taking a step backwards and just taking a roster spot away from a rookie or developing player. I have no interest in any receiver over thirty years of age.

I want Kris Jenkins DT
28 years old...a massive DT...who only a few years aog was considered the best DT in the league...according to everyones favorite, Bill Tuna
that would allow us to cut ties with 50 year old Fergie..and he is signed through the '09 season at a very affordable rate...and have Tank as his back up on nickle D.
Ratliff to take over for soon to be gone Canty...lol..

I'd rather draft Red Bryant from Texas A&M
in the middle rds, I think that would be the least expensive route.

top 3 rounds for him....
He ran a really good time at the combine...expect Tuna at the top of the 3rd...They have no NT on their roster...

I wanna trade Fergie.
4th-6th round. He's got value....not much..but some...heck...gimme a 7th rounder...He makes way too much...I can see him getting cut during camp if we draft a biggin' in the draft.

Well, ix-nay on K. Jenkins. Check it out...
Nearly a year after starting the process, the Carolina Panthers are about to unload disgruntled defensive tackle Kris Jenkins. The Panthers and New York Jets have been in heavy trade discussions about the three-time Pro Bowler and a deal could be completed Friday, according to multiple sources. The Panthers tried to trade Jenkins before last year's draft but pulled back when they couldn't get a first-round pick in return.
