Tony Romo + Ugly Betty = Super Bowl
The infamous "Curse of the Babe" has struck again. First it was Jessica Simpson on Tony Romo. Now it's Gisele Bundchen on Tom Brady.
Tony Romo + Ugly Betty = Super Bowl. Think about it.

'Curse of the Babe' Hovers Over Patriots

The Super Bowl is almost here and, conveniently enough, I'm almost ready to give you my prediction.
(...)
I'm talking about the Curse of the Babe. As in babelicious. As in hotter than Alabama asphalt on the Fourth of July. As in grocery-store tabloid cover girls.
As in Gisele Bundchen, the supermodel in the Victoria's Secret undies ads, a.k.a. Tom Brady's latest love interest.
In case you haven't noticed, bad stuff tends to happen to jocks who run around with Hollywood hotties. Case in point: Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, last spotted doing the L.A. club scene with Jessica Simpson instead of getting ready for Sunday's game.
Wait, there's more, much more. Spurs point guard Tony Parker, a.k.a. Mr. Eva Longoria, went on the injured list this week with bone spurs in his heel. And Brady, whose previous rendezvous with actress Bridget Moynahan produced the latest member of the Brady Bunch, was spotted last week hobbling around New York City in a walking boot, no thanks to a sprained right ankle.

Parker?
I realize that they have a valid point with brady and Romo, but Tony Parker's been with Longoria for a long time and the Spurs are the NBA's model franchise.
Personally, I don't buy it. Romo's struggled before, and he will continue to struggle from time to time. He's human. Patriots fans realize now that Brady is as well. Say what you will, but he did not look like Brady, and I maintain that his injury had something to do with it.
Pressure
I think Defensive Lineman in his face all night had more to do with the loss than any injury.
After all, the ankle injury didn't show up on the injury report.....or is that just another example of the Patriots making a mockery of the NFL rules?
What a reach...
Eva Longoria was at several games when the San Antonio Spurs won during last year's NBA title run. Heck, I'm a longtime Suns fan, and Tony Parker always plays well against them... and it's during those particular games that I always hope they show multiple shots of Eva so as to have a bright spot in my favorite team's loss :)
As far as da whole "Tonica" thing, the media is so stupid that they never mention Jessie being at games that the Cowboys won with her in attendance -- like the win against the Jets and the win against the Packers.
Must've been a slow news day in the entertainment section of AOL.
No kidding
I am so sick of people trying to blame anything on Romo. Last year, when Romo brushed off the fumbled snap with aplomb and was seen gallavanting Hollywood and singing it up with Mr. Belvedere, all we said was "well that's just Romo, dont ya just love him and his carefree ways"
But the media and fans hypocrisy towards their sports teams has shown itself with all the Jessica garbage. Since when has having a girlfriend ever been a crime? It's not like he was off doing all this during the week and missing practices. Its so old and overdone.
And if ANYONE tries to complain about Romo being in that Pepsi ad, I shall slap you. That was filmed months ago.

the rules of the world
when you asssume the mantle of celebrity you open yourself up to attention and with that comes criticism.
fair? no
life? yes
greg maddox made tons of money, but kept his mouth shut and did almost no endorsements (i think he was in one commercial)
when you get paid big money to do a big job, should your private lie become public? probably not.
BUT
when you choose to live your private life in public, you lose your ability to ask for it not to be discussed. bringing jessica to the game in a public way was his right, but then it became the media's right to focus on it.
when you fail on the big stage the criticism is often unfair (ask peyton manning) or ask steve young. but until romo wins on the big stage he is a taget and if he chooses to live his private life on stage his private life will be fodder for discourse.
its not air but its the life he chose, he likes the media and he has opted to embrace it (for better or for worse) every step of the way (see the super bowl commercial)
well said.....
