In honor of markdamack....
Post your most ridiculous scenario. Here's mine:
We get Pacman for a 5th rounder this year and next year.
We trade both of our first rounders for D-Mcfadden this year.
Then we trade our 2nd rounder this year and a 3rd rounder next year for Chad Johnson.
Then we can trade our 4th rounder this year and a 4th rounder next year for Roy Williams.
Nevermind the salary cap ramifications or the 2000 Redskins comparisons!

If you want rediculous
We swap picks with Miami for #28, Spears, and Columbo. We trade that with the Saints for their #1 pick this year and next and a bunch of other garbage, with the newly acquired #10, we get DRC. With the still remaining #22, we get Felix Jones. Then we trade the rest of our picks to Cincy for Ocho Cinco.

Here's a ridiculous scenario
You not being an asshole? Wow, that would be unexpected. Was this necessary? We get it ok. We know the salary cap ramifications . Also, let's not even bring up the 2000 redskins. If any of these players came to Dallas It would be an upgrade, not just big names and big money. These are all proven players.

Yikes!
I meant this as a fun exercise, not as a dig to you. I feel for you - It'd be fun to get this guys, and I think these are feasible.
These are all proven players, and would remind me a lot of last years Patriots.
Sorry if you took offense (none was meant!). I created the diary b/c there's no news going on right now, so we might as well speculate!

ok, I do apologize
With all the other stuff I had been getting I did take it as a personal attack. If it wasn't meant that way, I take responsibility for being the jackhole here.

settle down damack
I don't think this was meant as a personal attack but if you are going to make diaries you have to be able to accept that not everyone will agree with you.

Mark:
Profanity of any kind is uncalled for here.
While it may have been perceived as sarcastic, I do not think that unexpected meant anything personal in his diary.

Uncalled for
What is your point unexpected, other than to be a jerk? You have nothing intelligent to say?

Agree with Philosopher...no need to belittle .
Unjust, and down right ridiculous.....If you want to respond to his diary, fine...To go out of your way and mock his heartfelt, and sincere posting of his beloved Cowbys, was way off base....
There was nothing foolish, ilogical, or dellusional about his prospective trade ideas...as I'm sure Jerry Jones himself goes over every angle and stategy he can "imagine" while dreaming up dream scenarios....
I for one am on board with markdamack...as he is actually capable of expanding his mind and sharing his thoughts on how to improve this great team of ours...instead of constant jabs, and spittin' negative propaganda at other peoples thoughts, ideas, or possible draft prospects or trade scenarios.....
p.s....welcome back Philosopher...haven't seen you post in awhile...

Yeah
I don't think unexpected meant it in that spirit. I think the idea was "let's REALLY think outa the box".
Funny thing is, any of those things (but not all of them) could happen. This should be a wild draft. Get your popcorn ready...

agree dunkman...this draft is going to be wild..
And anything can happen....Jerry had two 1st rounders (jokers) in his hand...and he's gonna be wheelin' and dealin'....

Read my comment above..
my post was in no way, shape, or form intended to belittle him.
It was poorly written: if i had to rewrite it, the first line would be this:
"Since there is a lull in Cowboys news and we seem to be rehashing the same topics over and over, I thought it would be a fun exercise to see how stacked a team we could create by combining all of this year's trade mumblings"
by unexpected on Apr 18, 2008 6:08 PM CDT up reply actions 0 recs
Team sure were look good....
I can see some of those deals going down....Jerry will not just sit there ans not try to grab the spot light...Look for some major movement..

Alright, lay off unexpected
He said he didn't mean it like that, and I apologized for over reacting.
