Chad Johnson for Roy Williams?
According to this blog, the rumors of us trading Roy Williams for Chad Johnson started on ESPN Radio today:

I think Dallas would be better off pursuing Boldin or Williams (DET). Time to start building the position with some younger players. Still, T.O., Johnson, and Witten would be ridiculous.

That seems unlikely to me.
Of course, Roy for Chad would be a massive double win for the Cowboys.

The only way CJ is getting traded
is if he agrees to pay back some, if not most of his signing bonus money. If not, it's all worthless talk because the Bengals can't afford to take a 8 mil cap hit by trading or cutting CJ. CJ is on the books for 4 more years so he doesn't have any leverage. He either reports to training camp or get's fined heavily for every day he is not there. It would be nice, but it's not going to happen.

This trade could happen...after June 1st...
Cincy's cap hit this year would be only 3 million, with another 4.7 next year.....Dallas's cap hit would be the same 3 million...IF done after June 1st.
IF Chad CAN pay back some money to get out..I'm not sure if players are able to do that....Lavar Arrington's deal was completely different....He HAD a buy out clause in his contract.
This would be the most ideal trade for both teams...Cincy NEEDS a Pro Bowl Safety...and we NEED a Pro Bowl WR....
Git 'er done....

only six days left of these nonsense Scenario's
then we can get back to the reality of football..
Why woud Cincy Want Roy
This is a rumor that can only be categorized as Enormi Ridiculi..or more simply put....freakin ridiculous
Why would Cincy want Roy Williams? He's got a big bag of whiff and get burned these days. If you don't like it put that way..the fact is with the way football is played today, there isn't a position on the field he can play well at the pro level. He cannot cover well enough for a safety and he is too small for a LB. I know he has numerous Pro Bowls to prove me wrong..but I would argue he has kept the defense from being great..which is required of a Super Bowl team.
Any trade rumor involving Roy Williams is either wishful speculation or floated by the Cowboys to try to drum up interest..which isn't gonna happen.

I don't know why Cincy
would want Roy. They need a good safety, but that doesn't mean they need our "pro bowl" Mr.Williams. Why would they want him for one of their best players when we would be ecstatic if we could cut him cheaply. They aren't ignorant, at least, not overly ignorant, they aren't just going to go after Roy without seeing any tape of him. After that, I would be surprised if they offered us crap for the guy. There is a reason that everyone who has recently watched the Cowboys thinks the guy has declined greatly and can't play the pass. If we don't want him, why would Cincy?
Also, this doesn't work out for the Cowboys either. If Chad comes to Dallas then you have his contract and some of Roys on the CAP, Chad may buy out some of his contract from the Bengals to come here, but Roy sure as hell ain't buying out his contract to go to Cincy. Also, the guy is getting up there, does he have a while to go, sure, but the offense to this point has mostly been built around free agency and needs to start developing some younger players.
I dont know why
you guys even bother reading this stuff. Its just the media outlets that have nothing interesting to put out making stuff up because they have to bring in viewers, listeners or readers. This has been proven with the media saying twice now that a deal between Pacman and Dallas is done and just waiting on a signature, its garbage!
