Bradie James on SIRIUS NFL radio, 4/2
Bradie James was interviewed by Adam Schein (sp?) and Solomon Wilcots (sp?) today, mostly about the Pacman thing. What follows are my impressions about what he said. No links. No quotes. No proof. Just my impressions. Take it or leave it.
I came away from the interview thinking Bradie is definately against the rumored Pacman deal. He thinks he'll be more trouble than he's worth. He is also leery of coming to depend on the guy, and then having him screw up and be gone. He'd rather roll with what they have...plus whatever they can get through the draft.
They asked him about the Cowboys org beging able to deal with Pacman, noting Jerry J's history with seeming to succeed with second-chance guys (Haley, TO, Tank Johnson, etc.) Bradie laughed and said he thinks you can't put any of those guys in Pacman's category. Adam Jones is in his own league in that way. He noted that in talking to Michael Irvin, Pacman basically said he's gonna do this and that, and it's the same stuff that's gotten him in trouble before!
He's also a little bit baffled by the Zach Thomas deal. He looks forward to learning from Thomas' experience, but seems maybe a little wait-and-see on his physical skills. I think he's gonna have to see it to believe it. He doesn't know where Thomas fits in to the present situation...or so he says. I wonder if Ayodele feels the same...
