Rivals.com All-Undrafted Team

They list Darrell Robertson as one of the two DEs that should have been drafted. Adarius Bowman is listed, but I think he will be drafted by the prison league. Marcus Griffin also shows up at safety. Anyone know any of these other guys. I remember seeing a Jamie Silva piece on NFL Network. What about that tackle, Eric Foster, from Rutgers? Are we going to pick up a defensive tackle in FA?

I thought Paul Smith would have been a good backup to Romo
He was my 7th round pick, but the Boys ended up without a 7th. I keep looking for news on NT’s, but so far haven’t heard of anybody on the Cowboys radar. Maybe they end up bringing in a vet after the June cuts.

Hanie passed on us
Bears | Hanie passed on Dallas

Pat Rooney, of the Rocky Mountain News, reports Chicago Bears QB Caleb Hanie said he passed on signing with the Dallas Cowboys. “I loved Dallas growing up and I’m a big fan, but they have Tony Romo and I thought this would be my best opportunity,” Hanie said.
Given the situation in Chicago I don’t blame the kid.
Yep
Mel Kiper kept mentioning Hanie whenever someone would bring up the fact that Chicago didn’t take any QB’s in the draft.

I still find it hard to believe that
Robertson didn’t get drafted, he was ranked high on many scout’s list of DEs.
What gives Grizz with your boy?
In Romo we Trust
Someone mentioned yesterday
That he was coming back from an injury, and couldn’t workout at the combine. I don’t know if there is any other reason.

yeah, but all you have to do is watch the tapes
who cares if he didnt work out before the draft, you’d think he’d be worth a 6th or 7th.

To tell you the truth
i have no idea why he didn’t get drafted. As the late rounds kept going by I thought some 3-4 team would grab him and I was hoping it would be us. He was a very good player for us at Tech and was a disruptor in the backfield. I just don’t have an answer but I’m happy he’ll be showing up at camp with us. I think he’s got a chance.

Vikings...
were able to sign four (4) of the defensive players from this list. I guess when you don’t have a #1 draft pick and you only select five (5) players, you have plenty of rookie pool money to throw around at some of these players.
I heard Dallas gave Dixon a 3-year $1.1MM deal. Not sure what was guaranteed, but some of these UFA’s are getting paid more than the kids that were actually selected in the draft. Crazy.
Cowboy Up!
I thought
Barry Booker from Va Tech Should have been drafted Or at least signed to a UDFA contract….He was a starter on a very good Defense….Like 6’4” 250 or so…was invited to the combine…...
