Someone mentioned UCLA WR Mike Sherrod here.
Someone mentioned UCLA WR Mike Sherrod here. Sherrod was injury-prone and never had a great career. it happens. It’s difficult to label a talented player who gets injured a “bust.”

Sorry, it's Mike Sherrard. Here's link.

Team-by-team: Worst NFL first-rounders
Dallas: Mike Sherrard, WR, 1986 (No. 18). Sherrard was injured so much he missed all or most of three seasons after his rookie year. His Job-like string of calamities included breaking his leg while running on the beach.

Billy Cannon wasn't a "bust"
He suffered a career-ending neck injury. That doesn’t make him a bad pick. His story is a tragedy, but not a draft bust.
Keep doing what you been doing, keep getting what you been getting.
Don't disagree with you
But this list was not thought up by myself, but the whole BTB community.

cannon was a bust
he was aweful…only played in 8 games as a 1st rounder….LOL….noonan looked like a productive player compared to cannon

oskie, it doesn't matter if you get hurt
a bust is simply a high pick which doesn’t live up to expectations regardless of reason.

we disagree
on what “bust” means.

Rod Hill
Wasn’t there a DB drafted in the early 80’s named Rod Hill? Surely he is the biggest bust, right? Did he even make the team that year? Whatever happened to him?
yeah, I think 1982
but we drafted him late in the 1st rd which lessons the bust value. Noonan was the 12th player drafted overall in 1987 draft which is why IMO is the all time Cowboys bust.
