T.O. and Flavor Flav - no kidding
We get emails here at BTB. And today I got one from the people over at MyNetwork TV. They wrote to tell me that T.O. is going to star in an episode of Flavor Flav’s new comedy on their network.
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens (T.O.) is scheduled to guest star in an upcoming episode of the MyNetworkTV new half-hour comedy, "Under One Roof," announced the network’s President, Greg Meidel. Starring Flavor Flav, the series is slated to debut on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at 8:00 p.m. (ET / PT).
I don’t even know if I get MyNetwork TV. But if Flavor Flav and T.O. are going to get together for a TV show, that might just be a train-wreck I need to search out.
Here’s Flav and T.O.
Added Flav, "It is an honor and a blessing to have Terrell ‘Touchdown’ Owens on my show, ‘Under One Roof.’ I am excited and I can't wait to complete an episode with one of my most favorite players in history. One thing special I want to say to Terrell is, ‘Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being part of my show and consider this episode one extra touchdown under your belt.’"
Added Owens, "I am really excited about the show and grateful for the opportunity. I am looking forward to the experience and working with the cast."

BTB-regular DaveTroll has a diary on the problems with Aqib Talib and Mario Manningham. Looks like they’ll be coming off some boards for the first round and beyond.

Here are some better dates/times for our preseason schedule.

Mickey Spags takes his own look at the top CB’s in the draft.

The DMN blog says Virginia stud o-lineman Branden Albert will be visiting the Cowboys before the draft.

Branden Albert
That is interesting, I'd rank him as a bargain pick at #22, but when it comes to need, CB is still numero uno.
Albert, a big athletic, strong guard who can also play OT. Coach Houck coming back. I am seeing a possible Larry Allen type guy for Houck to develop. I wouldn't be unhappy at all if the Cowboys somehow landed him and a top CB.
Another possible scenario (albeit, far fetched) is Miami trading it's 2nd round picks #32 and #57 for Dallas' #22 so they can draft Albert. Miami is in desperate need of OL help. Albert has been linked to PIT, so if Miami covets Albert (who played for FOB Al Groh at Virginia), it would make sense to jump in front of the Steelers. The points favor the Cowboys according to the draft chart, so they might have to throw in another later round pick, or player.
Dallas would then have #28, #32, #57, #61
Right in the sweet spot to address CB, RB, NT needs.
Oh man, I'm turning into BoyzRBack, with these wild trades ;)
An interesting scenario
And a few weeks ago, I would have labeled it as very possible. It seems like the rest of the league, however, has caught onto Albert. I don't know if he's going to last until pick 22.
