IMO, his comments make Bill and Tony look slightly prickly to put it mildly. In defense of Bill and Tony, they are laying on that sweet new jersey charm to send a message throughout the team. And in truth – that is what they have to do to change the culture in that miami team. Bill had to do it here too. Bill and tony have to ask for 150% committment hoping they’ll get close to 100% from the whole team.

For the regular players at miami, the fear of losing your job is one heck of a motivator. And for them to improve, it’s those regular players that have to get better. They have to find a few stars, but turn over and improve all the other guys.
