Fantasy Football is here! 2 QB money league - NOW WITH INFO!

I know it's only June 12th, but I want my fix. So I've set up a league on Yahoo! open to my fellow BTBers. This is going to be a money league to ensure full participation (no quitsies!) and the entry fee will $10 by Paypal.

I don't know how many of you are familiar with 2 QB leagues, but they are definitely a different animal. This is NOT your older brother's league. It's fairly involving, so please only play if you meet the following criteria:

You love the Cowboys
You check BTB every dang day
You know Matt Jones is a bust, Julius Jones is a semi-bust and Felix Jones is going to the HOF
You follow other players/teams in the NFL
You want to make other BTBers cry for mercy when they see your team

Here's the quick breakdown (and full details are further down):

2 QBs and also DB and DL
Head to Head
6 team playoffs (Weeks 14, 15 and 16)
16 teams
Live Draft on August 24th (9:45 a.m.)

Prize money will be broken down as follows:

First place - 45%
Second place - 20%
Third place - 10%
Best regular season record - 25%

becasue people obviously can join multiple leagues. But I will be setting up an official BTB league, possibly more than one if needed, so keep that in mind.

I only like to be in one or two leagues max during a season. Also, I prefer to play in the traditional leagues, one QB and no individual defensive players. But who cares about me, you guys rock on.

12 or 14 will probably suffice.

If anyone has qualms about 2 QBs, I promise it’s a lot of fun as long as you don’t forget about it during the draft.

Just remember for those playing that QBs are as valuable as RBs in such a league (though there is arguably a greater premium on quality RBs).

Question

If something comes up during the live draft, such as work, (My job is unpredictable like that) could I set it to work automatically absed on rankings I set beforehand?

I think the autopick starts making your picks based on your rankings as time expires for each pick.

autopick

usually will select immediately if you’re not logged in at the time of your pick. so if you’re not around and not going to be available, it’s helpful to not be logged in so that your pick will be made immediately based on your rankings and others don’t have to wait. that’s been my experience with yahoo leagues at least…

Question

Who gets the return yards? Is it the “def” or the player. I would love to pay and play even with 2 qbs but im not real hot on the DB and DL thing… idk i guess ill have to see how it fills out…...... but i defn want to play some FFB and its never too early.. my buddy and i were discussing our FFB draft plans while theNFL DRAFT was going on haha

And the DB and DL thing is pretty cool. It adds an extra nuance to your strategy each week. Play it right, and that’s an extra 10 pts each week from each player!

Plus, D. Ware is about to break Strahan’s record this year. Wouldn’t you want him on your team?
