Worker dies while building the Cowboys new stadium

Sad news that comes on the heels of the crane accident the other day that injured three workers. An electrician has died while working on the stadium today.

An electrician working at the new Dallas Cowboys stadium has died in an accident at the construction site.

The construction company said Saturday that the man was working on the stadium electrical systems around 11 a.m. when the incident occurred. Emergency services were immediately called, but revival attempts at the scene were unsuccessful.

This takes away some of the joy surrounding the building of the new Cowboys home. Let’s hope there are no more accidents and that this unfortunate run of bad luck doesn’t continue.

Thanks for remembering him here, Grizz

We all publicly mourne Tim Russert and others, but this guy’s life was no less important.

Tar Heels football will surprise this year

I am saddened to hear of this loss...in wake of the earlier accident this week.

I have been in the construction industry for over 20 years, and have actually witnessed severe injuries and fatalities over the years…It’s never easy knowing that going to work each morning, there is always a possibility you may not return home in the evening…god bless a fellow construction worker….

A true diehard Cowboys fan since 1975.

"If you don’t take him off the field as a coach, he will just about die out there," Jerry Jones said. "That impacted my decision. It’s a Michael Irvin-type work ethic. That’s what we are talking about with Felix Jones."
