Romo scare, Pacman pic, Ellis returns
Totally ripping off the DMN blog for the following:
For a brief period of time Wednesday quarterback Tony Romo was knocked out of practice when a defender tripped over him and stepped on his left hand.
Romo appeared to have two fingers taped for precautionary reasons after being examined by head athletic trainer Jim Maurer. He took some snaps from center Andre Gurode before returning to work for the final parts of seven-on-seven and team drills.
Whew! Can’t have an injury to Casanova. We need him all year long.
Greg Ellis showed at practice today.

Also from the DMN
Crazy Joe was spotted at practice today.
**Deion Sanders came over to see his pupil, Pacman, practice. Former special teams coach Joe Avezzano was in the house, too.

I wish the cowboys signed Avezzano back as the special teams coach
He’s a great special teams coach and really, what would be better on HBO hardknocks than to have Avezzano singing or his colorful language ripping players for not staying in their lanes in the special teams drills…. Children, cover your ears, you might hear words that would peel paint off walls.

Avezzano coming back would be awesome.
As for that Pacman portrait. Beautiful. He does look a little small though.

WTH was Roy ripping into Felix w/out pads?
I know OTAs are without pads… but doesn’t that mean the hitting is “superficial” AT BEST????
So WHAT is Roy thinking???

thank God it was his left hand
Can’t have his throwing hand messed up. I’d like to know who the defender was because Wade should have threaten to cut his ass if it ever happens again, there is no excuse for tripping over the franchise and hurting him.
In Romo we Trust

He's getting stepped on at OTAs!
What are the chances his first bump comes so soon? Scary.
That #38 sure can hit!
