Roy Williams is jumping for Joy
I hope he doesn't pull something. Roy williams is jumping for Joy as one of the guys he is suppose to cover has been traded out of the division. The New York Giants have traded Jeremy Shockey to the Saints for a second and fifth round pick. Now if in some way Chris Cooley and L.J Smith were traded from their prospective teams out of the NFC east, Roy Williams might pass himself off as a probowler!!!!
I always thought Shockey was over-rated as a tighend, too much of a mouth piece and questionable hands. When he was lost for the season, the whole dynamics of the Giants offense changed. Eli Manning was a different Quarterback, not having to listen to the constant complaining from Shockey and his antics in the huddle of not getting the ball thrown to him enough. Eli became the voice in the huddle and the leader of that team down the stretch and in the playoffs when Shockey was lost for the season. Kevin Boss stepped in and the Giants never missed a beat on offense.

I think we would have seen Henry on Shockey
more than Roy this year anyway

I am gonna miss
rooting against him or seeing someone smash him out of bounds. But he won more battles against Roy and Co. than they did against him.
That #38 sure can hit!

I was thinking the same thing
maybe we make him a teammate of Shockey next year if we can find a way of trading him there.

God I'm glad Shockey is gone
he is a good TE, but he is not elite. However against us he looks like a future HOFer…. and why is that boys and girls?

Against us in the last 3 seasons, he has 2 good games..
We are not the only team he gets busy against..

He has the most success against us
without question. Roy Williams makes him look all world every time he is matched up on him.

Um... sure
Boss has caught 2 passes total vs Dallas, one in the regular season game, and one in the playoff game. Neither was a TD.
How is that burning anyone at will?
