How abt Chris Henry??
Is Chris Henry a Unrestricted Free Agent??
How about us looking at him? I am not sure abt his contract status and whether any team can sign him at this point.
With the player support program like ours,i think he will thrive here.
I think he can be a legit # 2 behind TO in this offence.
Jerry acknlowledged publicly that he is apprenhensive abt the Depth at WR behind TO.
I do not see any other quality receiver that we could get easily.

I don't think so.
The Cowboys need to win now. Bringing in another WR who may not play for a while would just be a distraction. Tank kinda rolled in under the radar. AJ came in with lots of speculation. Henry coming in would be a frenzy. Enough is enough.
Tank and AJ can be dominating players at their positions. I don’t feel the say way about Henry.
He’s not worth it.

I disagree
Henry has just as much talent as Pacrat and Tank, however, pairing that idiot up with Pacrat again again would be combustible.

I agree he is ultra talented. #1 WR tools, he is more physically gifted then TJ Hous, but he is lacking something between the ears. We have used up all of life lines for guys with behavioral problems..

No way
He’s that talented. You think he’s top 10 WR or could be if reinstated?
My point was that Tank and Pac can be top 10 at their positions.
He seems like a HUGE headache—I mean he busted an 18yo’s window out with a beer bottle? C’mon!

yes, he is that talented
don’t forget he was playing behind 2 top 10 WRs in this league in CJ and TJ and often produced just as well as they did. If you watched the bengals play with any regularity, you would see this.
No question he has top 10 talent and ability, however, he’s an idiot and will probably be completely out of the league for that reason.

If he was THAT talented
the Bengals wouldn’t have issues with Chad wanting to move on. And there would be talk of him pushing for one of their starting spots. Maybe he could—could be really good but he keeps missing alot of football.

thats not true
because they knew Henry was a problem child and didn’t want to risk losing both CJ and Henry. I think the Bengals knew it was only a matter of time before he screwed up again.
The only reason he was ever drafted and the bengals put up with his crap is because he is so talented, if he didn’t have elite ability, they would have cut ties with him a long time ago.

With Jerry as the ring leader of this circus
anything is possible, but I doubt Henry will be brought in, I think we have enough reclaimation projects on this team as it is, one more might just be too much to take.

Nope
Yes, Henry is an unrestricted free agent.
No, he is not reinstated by the league.
No, he has never been a number 2 receiver.
Yes, he and AJ went to WVU together where they cause all kinds of off the field problems.
Maybe, our personel department could help him succeed.
Bottom line is that while I have advocated bringing in Tank, TO and AJ, I just cant put my arms around this one. I really think that we have quality on this team that equals or exceeds Henry’s. Miles Austin has more potential then Henry with out the baggage. IMHO

Austin as good as Henry?
I find that laughable. The guy is a TD machine when he’s actually allowed on the field. The only thing Austin has been great at so far is drawing pass interference penalties.

This is his chance to prove it.
If he can’t do something this year, I don’t see a reason to keep him around. You can only stay around on potential so long. At some point, you have to actually do something.

I 100% agree with you
My point is that we know what Henry is. Both on and off the field. I think that based on that, Austin has a higher ceiling. But its put up or pack up time for

NO
Will not and should not happen. He may be the best option out there, but no team is going to view his charges being dismissed on a technicality as any endorsement of his character. Maybe in a year after AJ shows he’s fully reformed and lobbies for his buddy to do the same, but not now.

With all due respect...
I say “HELL NO” to WR-Chris Henry for his obvious repeated law violations.
No offense, thejanusman.

lets check him out....
i say bring him in for a test drive, if he looks good sign him to a contract that would force him to behave. and then get him a micro-brewerey for his house so he wont have to drive….i mean we already opened the dam up so what do we got to lose…..

Pass
While I always thought Pacman had a chance to behave. I still think Henry just dont get it. It’s too bad because he would be one of the top 2’s in the league. He’s got ridiculous talent.

I don't want Henry near this team
But someone is sure to sign him. If we really need another WR, lets see who gets cut. I’m willing to bet there will be a few surprises to choose from, without the off the field crap to worry about.
