Terry Glenn agrees to deal; Jerry Jones undecided
I read this story in a couple of places around the internet and just heard it on the radio, but was waiting for a substantiated source to report it before I posted.
According to ESPN's Ed Werder, Glenn has agreed to a split contract with the Cowboys. The deal means that he would not be paid his full salary if he reinjures his knee. I am guessing that the deal Glenn has agreed to is not necessarily the $500,000 deal Jerry Jones was offering but instead something in the middle.
The report also says that Jerry Jones has yet to make a decision on the matter. To me this means that Jerry the Showman is waiting until the opening ceremonies to make the announcement.
We will update you with the news as it is available.
Hat tip to BoNeZ for breaking the story in his Fanpost.
UPDATE: Nick Eatman is reporting that there is no official resolution and that it is uncertain as to what will actually happen. Acknowledging ESPN's report, Eatman says that one team souce says that Glenn will not be playing for the Cowboys this year.
Stay tuned.

Thanks Deke.
Here is the link.
At first I was optimistic that Jerry was waiting for the ceremony to announce Glenn’s return, but now I am not so sure. You would think that if Glenn had agreed to some kind of deal then it would be in the Cowboys’ best interest to move forward with him.
This will be very interesting in the next few hours.

Being reported Glenn signed the waiver
but Jerry is rethinking the deal. Some of the Coaches have told Jerry that they dont want Terry Glenn back.

WOW Deke
that is pretty interesting. Makes some sense to not stop the progress of the young guys but they could have told Glenn this a long time ago and not made him wait until zero hour.
Good gravy, how will this all pan out? I don’t see TG being much of a threat this year and think we would be better off moving on without him but oh, what drama!

Can he make the cuts and run the sharp routes?
I think that’s more important that whether he can run in a straight line. Austin can do that.
Championship...believe it!

His knees are shot
Jerry needs to put his foot down and quit being soft hearted when it comes to the beloved vets when they are done. I appreciate all the great plays TG made for us, but it’s time to move on and open up another roster spot for someone who can actually contribute.

No deal for Glenn
Wide receiver Terry Glenn said there is no deal in place with the Cowboys. Glenn is refusing to come to camp because the team wants him to sign a split salary agreement worth $500,000 should he re-injure his right knee
