NBC will stream Sunday night games for free this season

Apologies if this has been reported  before, but I just stumbled upon this link here, that describes how NBC is going to stream entire games for free along with stuff like this:

Alternative Camera Angles: Fans can choose from multiple extra camera angles, including cable cam and “star cam” (camera following a star player).

Picture-In-Picture Technology: Fans can watch multiple video streams at the same time.

In-Game Highlights: If they missed anything earlier in the game, fans can access highlights on-demand.

Live Stats: Up-to-the minute game data along with player and team statistics.

Live Interactivity: Fans can interact with NBC’s Football Night in America cast and NFL Network talent via a live blog.

And yeah I know that the games are already broadcast for free, and that most of us would make sure to be in front of an actual television during a Cowboy game, but if you for some reason cannot this looks like a cool alternative.

No kidding.

While I will most certainly be watching the NBC games in HD (the best HD sports on tv) I think I may have my laptop tuned in to a couple of these angles.

Here's what I'm thinking

Game on HD with no sound
Play by Play from the radio
Check the laptop occasionally for extras, like the stats or a cam on Owen’s, MB3.
Beer in hand
Wife upstairs
Baby asleep

Yeah

Yeah.....but

Brad and Babe is just classic gold. To me the icing on the cake of a Cowboys game is listening to Brad Sham do the play by play.

I think it stems from the time when I was a kid that I couldn’t get every TV channel and I had to listen to about half the games on the radio. Also when they played MNF or on Sunday nights, I wasn’t allowed to stay up that late. So I would be under the covers, my radio pasted to my ear as I listened to Brad do his brilliant thing.
