I know this isn't strictly speaking a football post, but it deals with our Czar of Cowboys, our Diva of Dallas.

I really don't mean to alarm you this early in the morning, but... reports from around Atlanta indicate that bubbas from all over the state are converging on your home city. Apparently they are alarmed by reports that Russia has invaded Georgia. I heard they were thinking about cancelling the Falcon's preseason games just to be safe.

Keep your head down. Or, ummm... up. You know. Be safe.

but you know that all battles are won in the trenches, and Georgia’s line is not about the surrender ground without a fight. Their offense isn’t too shabby either with all their trick plays. They’ll hide behind the Bushes and jump out and strike at the right moment to go for the win.

Look dunk, I can't talk to you right now

Me and some of the boys are pinned down in a drainage ditch along I-285 (I can’t say exactly where, you know, specific locations and all) but we are taking fire. A bunch of pinko-commie-bastards dressed like Atlanta City cops and Fulton County sheriffs keep trying to talk us out of our guns and our strategic location. They say things like “there’s no invasion” and “assembling with all these guns in a public place is unlawful.” Typical tactics from Ivan. But me, Billy Bob, Jimmy Joe, Earnest T. Bass, Ricky Bobby and some guy with a tattoo across his belly that says “The South Will Rize Again” and an arrow pointing at his crotch are still keeping up the fight. I see the regular populace has already surrendered as they drive mindlessly to their jobs under their foreign masters. But not me! Viva La Resistance!

I’ve got some cousins on my mother’s brother’s side of the family (twice removed) that are well heeled, fun loving, commie hating sons of the South. I have written to them and they are firin’ up the RV and are heading your way. You’ll recognize their vehicle… it’s all black with twin 50 caliber machine guns strapped to the roof with bailing wire and mural of Charlie Daniels painted on the side.
