NY Giants tee off at Cowboys
Since arriving at Giants training camp, I've been told that several members of the organization plan their Wednesday evenings around watching HBO's "Hard Knocks" in an effort to find more bulletin board material.
Apparently Jacobs has already seen enough because he went off on the Cowboys while appearing on WFAN's mid-day show earlier this week. After calling the Cowboys an "arrogant group," Jacobs followed with this:
"I guess they won their Super Bowl rings in training camp, because they didn't win it last year," he said.

Jacobs is an idiot
HBO had to have based their decision on Ratings. He is an idiot if he thinks himself and Eli Manning are going to garner more ratings than the likes of TO and PacMan

Jacobs does nothing but run his mouth
He did the same thing before both regular season ass-whoopins last year and did the same before the playoffs. I don’t know what show he is watching, I’ve heard them refer to the playoff loss several times. I’m sure the Giants talk about winning the Super Bowl in training camp if they have any confidence. Nobody has won anything yet this year.

I know its hard
The Giants are defending champs and they’re still under the shadow of the Cowboys and it drives them crazy. Mark my words we will be ready in the postseason this year last year was simply an admiration.

they have the right to brag
but it must be frustrating to have won the superbowl and still be the underdog to the Cowboys.

Jacobs doesn't know how to shut up
Does he? We let the Giants win in January. This fat boy is a slow, soft bum. The defense is going to break his ribs, and he won’t make it past the 1st quarter on November 2nd

Huh??
We let them win??? WTH? We didn’t let them win, they beat us, plain and simple. And that same defense beat Garcia, Farve and Brady.
And like it or not, they won the game that mattered, they earned bragging rights until knocked off their perch.

+1
They played balls out to squeak by each opponent. Goes to show that you don’t have to blow people away to flex your muscles. You can just outlast them until the clock says 0:00.

I'm surprised
Such a thoughtful and quiet young man like Jacobs would make such a comment.

who?
the giants put together a heck of a run fromm teh second half of the buffalo game through the pats game (that they could have sat starters for but came out and fought) to winning on the road three times in a row to winning the superbowl.
its commendable and respectable.
i wish our team put together a run like that instead of fading down the stretch two years in a row.
how did they choke? depends who you are asking about.
the giants played their best football when it mattered most. on some level all this talk abou how they arent that good is the best compliment you can pay them. they played out of their minds and over their heads when it really mattered.
how did we choke? dropped snaps on field goals, dropped passes, quitting on routes. it’s not greg norman-esque by any means but do you really feel like this team has put it together when it really mattered? i don’t. i think we will. i hope its this year.
