The Swing position

Romo,T.O., Witten, Crayton, Barber, those five are a lock at their respective positions relative to the offense. Deon Anderson is the Fullback, and a fine one at that, but this is they swing position on the offense. He can be exchanged with Martellus Bennett, Felix Jones, or Sam Hurd to gain an advantage in a match up. The options becomes near infinite with 4 guys essentially playing the same position bringing different skill sets, and match-up problems.

As was witnessed last year, most teams have 2 good corners, they tend to drop off talent wise after that point(we were no exception). The ability to create and exploit mismatches with personnel seems to be an integral part of Garrett's offense. I saw it last year as Jason Garrett lined T.O. up all over the field. Imagine Bennett split out wide against some runty corner like Lito Shepherd, or any linebacker in the slot on Felix. It is a fair statement to say that either situation favors us.
