Babe Laufenburg reminds me of Josh Lewin...!
Except Josh is more articulate.

According to the DMN blog
Pacman is not playing tonight.

sprain
is what they always say right at first. that can be 1 week to ….
what type? that’s when we’ll know…
If amendola makes this team, its only because of the injuries to the receivers
He’s nothing special at all.
Haha
From the Broncos blog re: Holland trade:
Coming from his sister in law… I’d like to say to the Broncos you just traded one of your best players. Too bad for you and Yippeeee to the Cowboys. Love ya bro. See you soon.
I'm really liking the idea
I want to see if Houck can make him into a road-grader to complement Bigg. We’ll see how he transitions to LG.

that means he is thinking too much

nicknames
I agree with whoever said this on the broadcast… Pit Bull has a bad connotation in football.
I like Cricket just fine, it has a good backstory and it is ironic.
bennett is getting open.
"If you see me up in the mountains with a lion, I ain't lyin

they did screw up on the clock management there
that was a coaching mistake.
but it worked out okay they still executed what they needed to.
First half thoughts:
Sam Hurd: Have to see how bad it is. The good news is that these injuries won’t last long. Problem is, coming in as a FA wide reciever off the street isn’t all that easy. We would just need someone for depth.
Bartel. Almost threw a pick, other than that made some okay decisions, and moved the balls.
WR’s: Danny A and Jefferson looked pretty good. Amendola looks pretty good returning punts.
ST: Great coverage tonight, and McBriar is a beast.
Forgot him...
Bennett: Some confusion with him on a couple of plays, but who knows who was at fault when he and the RB ran the same route next to each other. Other than that he looked pretty good. Used his frame to shield the defender on the pass and made some good grabs.

I don't know if I like suite owners having first row seats...
to me that means a lot of empty seats in the first row during games, but who knows.

yo what's up boys
just got here but have been watching the game.. Hard to see any detail viewing online but Bartel looks pretty good eh?
Skins
WAS losing to JAC 24 to 3 in the 4th quarter… and they were going to be playing their starters! ouch
Roommate's got a friend who plays receiver for Baylor
So we’re watching THAT instead… kill me.
Who’s looking good?
Pretty clearly the first time he has ever looked at a web site. "And there are readers' comments at the bottom! And advertisements for products! And best of all, I won a free iPod!"

First half stats:
Bartel: 17/23 143 yards
Choice: 6 carries 21 yards 1 TD
M. Jefferson 2 36 0 24
T. Curtis 2 24 0 13
M. Bennett 3 22 0 14
D. Anderson 2 19 0 13
D. Amendola2 17 0 11
B. Carpenter 3-1 0 0 0
T. Smith 3-1 0 1 0
D. Robertson 2-0 0 0 0
If it's any kind of hint,
Tommy Maddux and Jim Druckenmiller were the two best QB’s in the league. HAHA

Okay, I watched about 1 minute of clips
And I was reminded why I don’t like wrestling.

I look for Carp to lead us in tackles again tonight
Too bad they are all going to be at least 8 yards down the field.
The Roy Williams of linebackers!
Empty Numbers Man?

Well there's more to the deep ball than just heaving it...
It’s about touch as well.

Watkins
from DMN blog
Pat Watkins might have suffered a stinger. He has range of motion in his right arm and appeared to tell athletic trainer Jim Maurer that he was OK.
10 men
wasn’t walden the one on hard knocks that wasn’t out on the field when he was supposed to be and forced Wade to run out onto the field to call a timeout?
BTW it was Walden
It was a defensive play so it definitely wasn’t Lowber. But you can hear Stewart say Walden, and then Carp is scolding 53 “you gotta be on it dude”
I realize part of it was the back's fault,
but he was spun around as it was.

Good thing he has ice water in his veins.
The Buffalo kicks had nothing on this.
