I was hoping he was going to come around,

and Dallas could not worry about Thomas’ one year deal, or Burnett being a FA after this year. But they’re going to have to do something now.

TO

did he just say “probably low ankle sprain” ?

but could just be wishful thinking

by scottmaui on Aug 28, 2008 9:31 PM CDT reply actions   0 recs

That means a regular inversion ankle sprain

:)

TO

names Mike Jefferson when asked what WR catching his eye

by scottmaui on Aug 28, 2008 9:32 PM CDT reply actions   0 recs

Next to Jefferson,

TO was probably the second best receiver tonight.

Ball

great play as gunner

by scottmaui on Aug 28, 2008 9:46 PM CDT reply actions   0 recs

Geez...

Carp can’t make a big play when it hits him in the hands.

George again

2 sacks, 5 hurries, TFL, PD, what else? – what a game

by scottmaui on Aug 28, 2008 9:49 PM CDT reply actions   0 recs

I don't want to keep Danny,

but we almost have to until we pick up someone off of someone else’s scrap pile.

what was the score?

I'm definitely not ass excited about Danny now as I was before

But I think a lot of that is because of who he has throwing to him. Romo will elevate his game a lot.

by sublimezg on Aug 28, 2008 9:52 PM CDT reply actions   0 recs

I'm just disappointed in little things,

like running routes short of the sticks on 3rd down.

by Mandmeisterx on Aug 28, 2008 9:54 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

I was never high on him

and I dont think it makes a difference who throws to him, he’s small, gets pushed off his routes easily and just doesn’t have enough speed to make up for his other inabilities.

ok gg guys

have a good night

by sublimezg on Aug 28, 2008 9:54 PM CDT reply actions   0 recs

only one thing more boring than watching the last preseason game

and that’s listening to another full of crap politician ramble about how he’s going to change everything once again———YAWN!!!!!!!!

Bartel

R. Bartel 28/41 for 233 – leading QB in the league in yardage this week so far

by scottmaui on Aug 28, 2008 9:57 PM CDT reply actions   0 recs

still wouldn't give him a roster spot

I think he needs another year on the practice squad.

by Deke on Aug 28, 2008 9:58 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

you know that's not going to happen

I hope Dallas either brings in Simms or Beck

by Deke on Aug 28, 2008 9:59 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

Not enough roster spots.

It was a slim possibility before all of the injuries, but now there’s no way we can pull it off.

Here's my nine

Adams,Kosier,Gurode,Davis,Columbo, Free,Mcquistan,Procter,Holland.

Berger and Marten out

by Deke on Aug 28, 2008 10:07 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

I have a hard time saying it's Berger that's out.

Especially after how horrible McQ was tonight. He got spanked.

by Mandmeisterx on Aug 28, 2008 10:09 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

By Dallas bringing in Holland

that should tell you how much Dallas thinks of berger and marten at guard

by Deke on Aug 28, 2008 10:14 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

But McQ got the best shot to play there

and obviously didn’t impress anyone. I’m not saying I think Marten or Berger are any good either, I just can’t see them going that direction.

by Mandmeisterx on Aug 28, 2008 10:16 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

Mcquistan

is a swing tackle, and I dont see dallas carrying only one tackle in free as a backup.

Holland is a starter as a guard, Procter is the backup at center but could play Guard in a pinch.

Now, I’m not saying this is what dallas willl do, This is what I’d do to gain an extra roster spot for a third QB. We never carry ten linemen to games anyway.

by Deke on Aug 28, 2008 10:21 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

I definitely see your logic,

I just don’t think they’ll do it. Must be why Jerry has 1000000000000000000000000 dollars, and I’m broke.

by Mandmeisterx on Aug 28, 2008 10:23 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

Bartel is hoping for a job on another team

if he’s the leading passer this week, that might catch some attention

by scottmaui on Aug 28, 2008 10:09 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

I doubt it

There will be alot more talented Qb released on saturday

by Deke on Aug 28, 2008 10:12 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

I dont think a team is going to make him a number two on a roster

with his very very limited reps——he’s still very raw and needs another year on the practice squad

And remember, he went against the vikings third and fourth stringers tonight.

by Deke on Aug 28, 2008 10:32 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

but maybe even a #3

a lot of teams keep 3 QBs and he’s probably as good as some of them on rosters now. he may end up back on the PS, but I wouldn’t be shocked if someone saw some potential for development and picked him up as their #3.

McQuistan=Fail

McQ is a bum. I watched him on nearly every play and he consistently misses blocks and is easily overpowered. If a chain is only as strong as its weakest link, this guy could single handedly make our O-line inept.
