Stanback
Can someone please tell me why we don't have Stanback holding for place kicks? The playoff loss to Seattle should have been a wake up call. You need some speed back there. God forbid that Brad Johnson has to run the ball. Stanback was a QB in college so he can still throw if necessary.

It's probably an experience thing
The idea is to not have to run it. BJ does a good job of getting the ball down quickly & consistently. Another thing is they probably don’t want to put too much in front of him. He’s still in the process of learning to be a receiver and doing anything else would take snaps away from him.
Not a bad idea in the future though.

Brad is an Excellent Place Holder
Plus he gets reps at QB, so if run a trick play he would be the most effecitve passer.
